  1. Beach, it's actually cut fairly slim like Vamp stated. If I'm sitting, I have to unbutton and/or unzip the jacket otherwise my movement's very restricted. (=

Regardless, I'm confident with the fit of the jacket -- I wouldn't have invested so much money into something I didn't believe fit immaculately.

I'm DJing tonight at this bar called the Midpoint. Cheap beer + shot combos, jerk chicken barbequed outside. Grungy nineties rap. I might buy you a drink if you come!

Was actually surprised 'cause I was like who is this baby-faced dude calling out at least a half a dozen black dudes. And then the clothes registered.

And.. my buddy Andrew bartends there. Jerk chicken.. yeeeeeup.

  3. I was kind of hoping they'd fight you. I was smoking outside with a buddy but we were with a few chicks and a bunch of dudes from work. Would've just jumped in and my friends would've rolled out pretty quick.

Every time I see you, someone wants to jump you though. Last time I was at Java with Juby and his "cousin" they ran out and started harassing you. That was like two years ago though.

  4. HBlack, kind of random but I think I passed by you on my bike a week ago. I was with my buddy who decided we were going to venture north at Queen/Yonge and you kept going down Queen.

I was on my shitty IRO and he was riding his sexy, new silver makino.

  5. My entire sleeve is Sylvia Ji's work. Last time I saw her she was still kickin'.

what do you guys think of getting an artist's work as a tattoo if he/she isn't way dead? I'm not too seriously thinking this specifically yet. I save stuff into a folder for "tattoo ideas" because I've wanted one for awhile. I'm just wondering what you guys think.

Work by Steve Viezens. I really like the Madonna. I even found dude on facebook, so I guess if I had decided to get his work done I could contact him beforehand to see what he thought?

  6. balls to the stem freaks me out

im running 48 18 right now (Whats a better combo?)

my legs are strong which is why i cant understand how i cant do this and dudes with pencil legs can

Just keep practicing. There are a few things that are very important when trying to learn how to skid:

    - stand up a little. i used to try it sitting down. ultimate fail.

    - wait until your STRONG leg is back. you should attempt your skid around the time when both of your feet are parallel to the ground

    - lean forwards! the more weight you have off the back wheel, the easier it is to skid. when i was learning, i found leaning forwards(putting your nuts on the stem) and pushing down on your arms helps

    - also, the faster you're going, the easier it is to skid. not to say you should be bombing down a hill or something but going at a decent speed

    - i know personally, i feel very uncomfortable skidding with any kind of narrow drop bars. balance and control of my skidding is way better with my risers.

Good luck and just keep trying. It took me fifteen minutes to learn with the same advice. Also, one of my bikes runs a 49/16 and I've absolutely no problem skidding at all. Just takes practice.

  7. saw him a few weeks ago. came into my store with his buddies to cop desert boots, chatted about ordering skidnee's book, dropped the n bomb a few times and then left peacefully. he was sober, i think. );

  8. So many bright coloured, pop'd collars at 751 last night. I almost trampled a little asian girl trying to fight one.

And.. whose eaten at Poutini's? We ended up there but I was too far gone to even try eating.

  9. ^ Sucks that the weather's not going to cooperate with your visit. Rain, rain and more rain.

But yeah, you can try Little India for general goodness(almost all of the sauces are great with naan -- butter chicken, rogan josh, etc).

    Gandhi for roti.

One of a Kind for that pasta(Marco Polo's a good choice if you're unsure about which kind) without the brainsplosion of people at Terroni's.
