I looked at some of my KVA era jeans and the placement of the tags varies a lot.

The wash looks like Dark Clouds to me, but I can't remember if they are button or clasp.

Just visited the luisaviaroma site. The price of the Brut jeans (MIJ) went up by heaps

I bought mine last July for just over $300au and now its saying that they are $440au and they werent even on sale when I got mine.

Why the hell did that happen in such a short amount of time.

All the jeans have gotten ridiculously expensive in the past two seasons.

It seems like just a few seasons ago when the washed jeans were in the $500 range. This season there's almost nothing under $700.(((

I think they've adopted a new business model where they stock less, charge more, and then don't have a sale.

^^^ yes, I'd go with 28. They stretch a lot.

It's pretty subtle. Both the pre-wash and the stripe are jet black, so it's more about the texture. But yeah, I'll post fit pics when I'm back in Sydney.

The boutique told me that the rise on Tuxedo denim is about 4cm higher than normal.

Do you notice that? Do the jeans sit on your hips, like normal Diors, or higher?

I'd like to see pics too. I'm thinking about getting them, but it's hard to know how the stripe will look when being worn.

Just picked up a pair of MIJ 17.5cms from the NYC store... They're a black pre-wash with a vertical black strip down each leg. I love them! Does anyone have any more info – name, collection etc.?

I think their name is Tuxedo denim.
