I think the longest I can live in the Philippines is ..maybe 4 months.

Some guidelines if any one of you also decides to move to the Philippines:

- Watch out for muggers..theyre everywhere

- Never walk around at night by youself...unless your aware of your surrondings.

- Get use to the humidity...drink plently of water. The weather over there can be VERY irritating.

- When your shopping in markets/ flea markets, always barter with the seller. Most, if not all the time, they will lower the price on the goods they are trying to sell you..

- If you have family, stick close to them...it can be very lonely at times being by yourself.

- Buy extra "Tipid" cards...that way you don't have to go to the convience store to keep buying em'.

- Get use to the crowdiness in festivals, markets, malls, etc

- Get to know your neighbors...some are generous, and can help you if you have any problems, and some are rude.

- Get use to people begging for spare change..

Hah, I was actually born in the Philippines..metro-manila hospital. I moved to the states when I was about 6. All I remember are hot-nights were I couldn't sleep, using a hankerchief from the dusty air when you rode in a tri-cycle, or jeep, and wearing sando's & chinelas all the time. It's weird, cause everytime I take a visit back to my hometown Dasmarinas Cavite, I feel right at home. Playing ball with the cousins, going to SM, playing counter-strike, you know, the typical shit. Buying taho & fresh pandesal in the morning, taking a shower with a tabo...gahd I hate cold water. Oh, and you can't forget going to all these fastfood places such as Greenwich, Jolibee, Macdo, & Max's resturant? I haven't visisted in like 3 years though. Most, if not all my dad's side of the family lives over there. Switching over to being vegetarnism sucks even more for me. Missing out on adobo, tapa, lechon, beef steak, lumpia, etc. Tilapia once in a while though. To be honest though, I would much rather prefer Christmas in the states. I've spent 2 christmas' there, and it just didn't feel right. New Year's was cool though. Ahhh, enough of his nonsense. Great thread you made here.

Overall outcome of the movie: I personally thought it lived up to the hype. The special effects were dope, and the robots transofrming too. I was a bit dissapointed that there was no sex scene with Megan Fox lol, and also some of the cheesy lines people said. Overall it was a great movie, def. worth buying on DVD..
