  1. Prices include shipping within the CON U.S., please notify me if you'd like an international shipping quote, or a quote for insurance. I've done a few transactions before on here, but my feedback is primarily on eBay, with 100% after forty eight transactions. I'd love to verify this if it'd make you more comfortable doing a sale.

Please inquire if you wish for better pictures.

  2. Gig reports from those shows please Grail and Epic?

Yes sir. I might photograph too, not sure though.

Got my ticket. Will be in line an hour early, will buy cheesy tour shirt, will stand in front center, and will scream like a girl when I see John Haughm.

Anyone want a shirt proxy? ;)

  3. At the Gates are doing a U.S. tour. Fuck yes, can't wait to see them, finally.

Also, found out about some band called Negura Bunget. Listened to them on youtube, and they fucking rule, ayoneone know anything about them?

edit: Anyone heard the new Agalloch EP either? It's amazing. I'm seeing them in 2 weeks, I'll give you guys a report after the show.

  4. Got a pair of the slims last weekend.

I'm really impressed with the fit, it's exactly what I was looking for. Skinny, certainly, but not a pair of Cheap Mondays by anyone's standards. I'm a 32 waist, and I purchased a 29, which came out of the box as a 31, I believe, and has now stretched out to a 32 in a day or two, I'll probably have to wear a belt soon.

The denim itself is quite soft and stretchy, they're the most comfortable raw jeans I've ever worn. I hoat soaked them yesterday, didn't lose much indigo, and they didn't shrink at all.

I'll report back in a few months! :)

  5. Word to the wise: avoid the Sonic Youth SYR series (or basically any of their 'avant-garde' garbage). Worst shit I've ever heard.

I don't really dabble much in experimental music, to be honest. When Black Metal touches avant garde, I'm usually listening, but otherwise, I'm just really slow on the uptake. I looove drone though. Anyone own a buddha machine? So fun.

  6. Check out Collier in Pioneer Mall for japanese denimz (sugarcane, jean shop). Nice salespeople there.

Go to Powells books on burnside if you enjoy reading, I can't say there's a better book store in the world. Everyday music is 2 blocks up from powells, tons of used cds for 8.50 a pop. 2 blocks down from powells towards the river on the other side of the street is jackpot records, great selection there. They've got a location on hawthorne st. if you've visiting local 35.

Hecklewood's a local label, located on...28th or something and Thurman. They've got the Tanner belts that everyone's nuts over here.

Go to Ground Kontrol in chinatown if you're an arcade junkie. On that block is compound gallery, the 'toy'/streetwear shop. Not a great shop, but it's the only one of it's kind in these parts. Upper playground is across the street from compound gallery if you're into that (again, I'm not). Both stores have great art galleries instore, check those out if you're nearby.

For some serious Lebanese food, go to nicholas on se grand. SO much fucking food, don't order too much, they give you tons. Make sure to get the rice pudding. Next door is andy & bax, military surplus, fun store.

    I love this city.
