other photo threads are kinda dead so posting here, but what camera straps/slings are you guys using on your DSLR? looking for recommendations. 

I'm using a D800 Nikon strap on my cams, its the most comfortable strap I've used. Takes almost no room in the bag and cheap as chips. Most of the popular straps these days seems more like a fashion statement.

just be careful with slide film its a bitch to get developed.

I'm sure this question has been asked a thousand times but I just bought my first film camera and I'm having a hard time choosing film. I'm planning to shoot colour and I like the look of the provia 400x but realised they're now discontinued. I have a few on order but does anybody here use that film and what kinda film have you moved onto to get a similar look?

Here's a full shell wallet

Selling my unused full shell cordovan wallet in black. I have one in hybrid and I really love the full shell but its a tad too thick for me, I'm a minimalist. Selling it for $xxxAUD and I'm happy to ship overseas. I forgot to make a zip braid but I'll make sure to do so before shipping, it will also be made from the same hide of shell cordovan. Does anyone know of places online to pick up 35mm film that is cheaper than amazon?  Also, I keep trying to post photos in here and can't get it to work. Is there something you have to do with your images or am I just that dumb?

Are you trying to upload from the comp or do you have a flickr account? If you have a direct url link you can use the image button in the reply tabs, just type in the direct link and it will wrap it with the right code. If you're using flickr, click on share this image and choose the option for BBcode. I've never tried uploading pics directly from the comp.

I also find 75 too specialised for general shooting. The X2 is nice but I think the A12 will be a more versatile choice for the future. I would pair it up with a 21 biogon and add a cheap 75CV or 90 lanthar for something different. If you decide to upgrade the body these lenses are worthy keepers.

^Both great advice, those lens will be superb, I guess it depends whether you need that 2.8 or not. If you have a crop camera go for the corresponding alternate. I like to shoot primes but if you're taking videos its nice to have a zoom.
