I am antsy for the jungle cloth and the release keeps slipping. Now I have to think of something else for my girlfriend to get me for X-mas.

I am thinking of selling this pair of MOTOs, which are a size 2. I wear an 8.5 in both White's and Alden Chukkas, and am usually a 9/42 in other shoes.

Anyone else think it's high time we get updated evo photos of zakurie's MOTOs? It's been 2 months and at the rate they changed between his first couple sets of photos, they could look like totally different beasts by now.

Sorry for the delay, but here are some updated pictures of my MOTOs. Unfortunately, I haven't been wearing them very much because I need to wear my steel toes for work. As a bonus, the pictures show a brand spankin' new pair of MOTOs in the same color, which are the shorter version of mine. They are beautiful before and after.

I've been on vvortex for years. This is my third VW, not including the two Audis I've had. First TDI though.

The mkvi is such an advancement for VW. The only thing differentiating it from an Audi are the rings.

There are some cars around for the taking. Few and far between, but get on the ask a salesguy thread and see if mico or paul can locate one for you.

I placed two orders for a Golf TDI up i the Bay Area, but the orders were sitting in VW's system for months, and the orders for all US bound Golf TDIs keep getting delayed. Dealers are all just starting to receive one, maybe two cars, and thats all they are getting for the rest of the year.

Last week I started calling around to dealers to see if anyone close to home had something remotely close to my order available. One dealer found a car on a boat, coming into LA that wasn't listed as a sold car. He told me who was was getting the car. I called and the dealer didn't even know he had the car coming in. I made a deal for MSRP, paid my deposit, and waited for his word of when he would receive it. He got the car 4 days later. I bought my plane ticket to LAX, and I am driving home this morning.

It is a sick fucking ride.

Have not seen any of those anywhere... Maybe they were a US only thing. Did find a whole size range of the mans undershirt in white on yahoo auctions going for 12,800 yen... Want to cop, but would rather have the mechanics sweatshirt. Did you end up getting the khakis bro?

I gotta say that the undershirt is awesome. I can wear that under almost any shirt and be plenty warm in the winter.

i've decided on getting a pair of alden long wings in shell, the problem is, leffot has the ravello shell in now, but im really digging the #8 shell as well. I'm fukn thinking bout which one to get all the time like a hs crush! any suggestions? i'll mostly be wearing it with jeans and a white tee

I suggest ravello. It is a much more dynamic color. While I love #8 when it is new, I have seen #8 morph into a brown that while beautiful is kinda disappointing.

you suppose the local shoe repair shop might be up to it? It'll be troublesome if i have to send them back to the US.

Be cautious. I had a similar tear and my local repair shop glued it down, however the fix lasted about a month. I think you should contact Alden and ask then for their opinion.

The heel on White's boots is probably THE most important and distinguishing feature. The "reality of what these boots are all about" is functional footwear for men who work on their feet all day (e.g. firemen, loggers, construction workers, ranchers). They are designed to more appropriately distribute the weight of the upper body to the weight bearing bones of the legs and improve arch support, per White's patented Arch Ease. I doubt you would describe most of the guys who have been wearing these boots for years as "feminine."
