Everyone seems to stay north of Wilshire or on the East side, and I want to compile a list of things to do on the West side. I have a car, but I don't want to drive 30 minutes every night I want to meet a friend for a drink.

I just moved to Culver City, and I've found a few spots, but I definitely need help lengthening my list...

I've been to Mandrake, The Backstage Bar & Grill, and some random other bars. I heard there are some good art galleries to check out?

What else do I need to see? I have a few friends visiting in the next couples weeks and I want to show them a good time.

I want to enlarge a digital photo into something large enough to frame and hang on a wall. I was looking into Shutterfly for their custom framing service, but I figured I should consult the superfuture experts before spending $100 on something like this

I own the Andis Slimline and one of their regular clippers. I wouldn't use the Slimline for your head, the motor doesn't seem to have enough power for that. Get the slimline for doing around your ears, neckline and beard and get a pair of regular clippers for your head.

They pay for themselves in saved barber shop money in only 2 or 3 haircuts.

Ok that's what I was wondering. What model is the regular clipper you have?

Would something like the Andis SlimLine be too small for shaving your head?

I just went to the 24 hour Super Sport on Brand in Glendale. I went during a weekday so it wasn't too crowded, and I liked that it has a pool.

Unfortunately, it looks like I'm going to be moving into an apartment on the north side of Culver City. So I need to look in the Beverly Hills/Santa Monica/Culver City area for a gym now.

Does anyone know of a small club in that area that has a pool?

I go to a smaller boutique gym that is a great value, but it's nowhere near Highland Park.

Curious, where? I might be moing to the west side actually.. In fact I'm looking for a place right now.
