Can anyone recommend a jean that's similar to the modern Levi 505 that you can get at Sears and whatnot? My dad wears those like crazy, but I'd love to get him a pair of drys that are similar cut that he can break in.

I know this isn't denim related, but anyone got suggestions for <200 dollar casual linen blazers for the summer?

my s0500s got one slub bump on em.

nope, 17oz samurai..seriously, the comfort of IH 21oz is unbelievable...no going back for me..
Crazy. my 19oz Samurai's were just too stiff for me. Especially when tight. I couldn't imagine what Samurai 21 oz would be like.

Those are looking badass, Beatle. Have you worn a 21oz sammie as well? Everyone says the IH are soft even at such high oz.

With Lot.13 all models come with the new arcs design in black. From Lot.14 on, it's just like it was in the good old days. The 19oz denims come with black arcs and the others have the contrast arcs. All in the new design.
And yeah, since 2007/2008 the arcs and tabs are only available straight out of Japan (officially that is )
ah, so I'm a lot behind. Too bad. I wanted yellow.

So are Sammies with yellow arcs only straight outta Japan now? Or have they switched to black arcs? Or what's the deal?

You think? They look a little less boaty than Docs.

the texas cotton stretches lot's and fast so you shoudnt have a problem
Good! I was slightly worried. Thanks, man.

s0500s stretch back out in the waist right? Mine are snug before a soak and I'm worried.

Bump it up.

So. I have 710s in 33x36 tagged size. Going to some s0500s. But from BiG measurements it looks like I should be buying size 31, which measure 33 waist which will shrink to 32ish?? Is that right?

Arcs tabs. Moderate wear, too tight for me. Once soaked, not hemmed. 19oz
Beautiful denim, just too tight for me. Asking 300 shipped.

s0500, 5000vx or 811s for similar to 1947 lvc fit, something that will stack but not be too tight. Not as tight as APC NS or 710.

Love them. Have a pair. Massive rip. Looking for another something similar. Not satisfied with the 3005s in that regard. Might tailor them from the knee down.

Anyone's opinion on the ultimate in med rise/anti-fit/straight (slimmish) jeans? 811s? 5000vx?

How does the denim feel on those IH? My 19 oz 710s are almost too much. I'm thinking about selling them. My dick is choking all day.

I machine washed mine at 60C, I never bother with that soaking business! They shrank quite a lot - about 2.5 inches on the waist and inseam.
I think 2.5 inches in a hot wash might be a tad much for me at 6'4''. I'll prolly hot soak and hang something off them to keep them long. I'm a tall man.

Good choice Revsta, I have the F350s, which are the same cut with slightly different details.
Awesome. I'm excited. FH denim is baller. How much shrink did you get in the inseam? I'm a tall guy so I'm a bit worried about letting them soak too long.

Jeebus, Rvesta, by the time you get around to deciding and ordering those jeans, vintage repro's will have become true vintage...
I figured it out! Ordered today. Flathead 3005s. Figures right? Thanks for the suggestions everyone, I'll let you know how they work out.

So Ryan Gosling wears a henley in Drive, if anyone's seen it, like this.

They're saying it's a 30's deadstock army/navy henley. Aside from scouring surplus shops, anyone have an idea where to find something similar? Especially the long arms/cuffs.
