  1. hey i wear a apc ns size 27... i'm about 31 in waist. the jeans is pretty tight at first but it now fits me great but the knee buldge is killing me, do u guys encounter the same problem ? anyone any idea how i can solve this thing ???

I heard somewhere that you could turn the jean inside out, spray the knees with a water bottle, then iron them dry (with an ironing board so as not to ruin your honeycombs).

FYI, context has just stocked up on all sizes of APC New Standards.

  2. When you dream about buying your next pair of jeans. And then it becomes a depressing dream because you realize that these jeans were bought a size too big and stretched far too much. I can't fucking believe I had a DREAM about that.

    hahahahahaha

  3. I am wearing my Cheap Mondays right now. They are "Alive N' Dry" in the regular fit, except they aren't dry anymore, as I put them through one hot wash to attempt to shrink the waist. They are tagged size 32, but feel more like a 33 or even 34. The waist is till incredibly loose, but they don't fall down, so it is bearable.

The overall quality leaves something to be desired. There is already some stitching coming undone on the back pocket, and I haven't even worn them for two weeks.

Overall, I would recommend down sizing at least one, and possibly two sizes for a proper fit. I won't be buying Cheap Mondays again anytime soon, unless I want to pick up some seasonal items, such as white jeans for this summer.

    (don't mind the mismatched socks :P )

    minor imperfections:

The back of the tag is undone, but still intact

There are slight cuff marks, but nothing that won't come out from a wash. I purchased these jeans before I realized how dumb I look wearing a bootcut. They fit nicely, but they are just taking up space in my closet right now.

I don't currently have a Paypal account set up to accept transactions, but a money order will suffice.

  5. MF DOOM (aka Viktor Vaughn)

    + Madlib

    = Madvillian

    Ratatat (great hip-hop remixes)

J Dilla (and the rest of Stones Throw Records too)

    CunninLynguists

    Typical Cats

    I Self Divine

    Heiroglyphics

    Blue Scholars

    Ugly Duckling (to an extent)

    The Coup

    Grand Puba (Brand Nubian)

Fondation Metisse (some crazy French group, www.myspace.com/autarcie)

    Megatech

...and the list goes on. I love me some underground.

  6. After the first wash, how much would the inseam shrink down to? also, would it stretch back out? Im hoping the waist will also stretch back to its normaled post-stretched size.

APC denim is sanforized so you can expect minimal shrinkage. They will shrink back to their original size and quickly stretch back out. It may be a good idea to stretch the inseams while they are still wet after washing.
