Backpacks aiight, reminds me of a Jansport just with board straps?
yeah, but a lot of the Supreme backpacks are jump-offs of other brands, just made in there own way - different c/ways and details etc.
I forget who was the 23rd a reworking of? I'm sure someone will drop that knowledge.

been reading this blog recently
this is a good read - I find a lot of the nostalgia for the early Revelation years to be a little "rose tinted" but the stories there are pretty gold.

What is the deal with the colab with Fruit of the Loom? first is saw of it is HERE and no other stockist seems to be playing it up.
Seems odd to me, surely if anything it is just NDG graphics on a Fruit of the loom tee?

the Crush Kill Destroy album is stacked full of them.
Loads of great moments, probably equal amounts of Style Wars and Spazz tracks the speed they go through their songs.

the original Youth Crew circa 1987. Dunkin is pretty much spot on about who they were(anyone else think it's pretty clear to see how that period of New York Hardcore has influenced Streetwear?) along what fallen angels and mlproject were saying about the youthful rebellion in Les Mis. you've pretty much got it wrapped up.

Less 16-17 kids that do it to be cool, that want to get the look before knowing anything. Less attitude and more music.
I think that is just the way it is now. It means there is a high drop out rate of kids at shows but the kids who are really down(generally not the ones running trying to look/act down) still stick around.
We were all those 16-17yr olds once, I wanted a piece of everything at the time and spoke without thinking and i'm still going to shows etc 10/11 years on - it is hard not to to have rose tinted glasses about the great times we had, and be all bitter about how things just aren't the same now.

totally agree Sean_ but it is the unashamedly metal drumming is what does it for me.

A classic. at least to me.
I'd say so too, the film really doesn't do it justice.
Currently a little lost for something to read.

on the topic of crust, is anyone into Fall of Efrafa?
Word - very good band. I remember DoubleD and myself discussed them at some length either in this thread or another.

That was my guess, but as you referenced From Ashes Rise I really wasn't sure.

Please delete this thread so when pcitures do finally come out, we don't have to wade through this crap until atleast page 9 or so

j-crust wins it
Dare I ask what j-crust is?
Went through a heavy Martyrdod and Remains of the Day phase last year, both of those bands are pretty crusty and very good, I'd say better than more popular bands like Tragedy(who are still a good band!)

they should be, but they aren't.
Not heard any reports from the Converge tour but the headline show they did prior in London was pretty much a disappointment.
Rot In Hell were the more convincing Clevo band on the night and they are from Leeds!

the National Geographic(i think) TV show about Straight Edge with xAFBx in is pretty hilarious.
You will not check them out after that.

have you tried not spamming Oki-Ni in every post you make?
it is a good webstore, we all know, but those vans are an old release and they will not be getting them in this drop.
Slam City skates had the purples, I had them and thought the shape sucked. I've only seen the teal on ebay.

Good spot Sammy, think that explains why the new bag has the embossed logo too - don't know why they did it as a double box though.
