Went to see Recon/xLiferuinerx last night - quite enjoyed Recon live if I'm honest in a totally thick-necked meathead kinda way despite their records being a long way short of stellar.

Don't think anyone watched xLiferuinerx - I've not heard them but I get the impression they are quite the hated band? Sounded pretty shitty from outside too.

We could on the other hand talk about some UK hardcore, at which point I point out that Dead Swans are sweet, you tell me they suck and to stop bumming on my hometown scene, I tell you you're wrong, everyone else goes 'eh?' and we start talking about Ceremony again.

this is pretty accurate, I don't think Dead Swans are particularly bad and know a lot of dudes who really rate them, but they just don't click for me.

I was kinda bummed that the Unbroken/Undertow leading onto Disembodied thing didn't really flesh out into a better discussion before coming back to posts about BANE or modern hardcore sucking.

I've been meaning to PM you back about Deadguy but it had clear slipped my mind...

I'm always interested by the bands Sean posts about but have the feeling they'll have split by the time I check them out.
