  1. It's been awhile, but I thought I would post in here to let anybody interested know that our 1 year anniversary issue is out/coming out today.

Issue 12 marks a full year of publishing online articles about our favorite brands and products. This is our biggest and most exciting issue, I was super excited to get a great interview with Daiki Suzuki and Engineered Garments, a look in the Red Wing factory, talk with Tres Bien about their new shop and of course unveil our first collaboration products with Tannis Hegan for our duffle bag and with Gitman Bros. for our oxford shirts.

Besides that, we cleaned up the design a bit and did a remake of Take Ivy with new collections and brands and shot it in Victoria, Canada.

I'm pretty excited about it, so hopefully somebody might stumble through here and find something they like.

    Thanks,

  2. I don't think their collab fleeces are that much. Cost is only $70 or something so it should be under $200 for sure...

I bought 2 NDG knits last winter and love them, probably my favorite sweaters I own.

  3. I think the collection is really good. The look book is good and there are a lot of nice knits and jackets. The shall cardigans and pullover, V necks in lambswool, waxed vest, field jacket and trench are all really nice. There is also a really good woolen blazer, good pants and a number of really nice accessories.

  4. Their fabric is quite nice. It's a washed oxford for a lot of the vintage collection, but they have come flannels, herrginbones and madras in the line as well. All of the patterns and materials are the same from the stocks of 10-20 years back.

The feel at least as good as BoO but I find they fit me a lot better and cost far less.

  5. There is also a difference actually between Gitman Bros. and the Gitman Vintage collection - which is going to be showing up in some great shops in the fall.

Also a little collaboration with h(y)r collective magazine might be surfacing pretty soon....
