Damn, that parka is beautiful. I would love to have that piece. Just can't drop that dough.

Let's just say I can't wait for about 1 week from now...
But hey, EG fall looks great! And ss09 is on big sale at Barneys and J+O in Vancouver for anybody interested.

Funny you should say that....Look forward to issue No. 13 with Mister Christophe... the same photographer shot Christophe as Daiki, so they are beautiful as well.

Hey folks,
I scanned some images from the EG fall catelog. Sorry I'm a bit lazy to uploda them all on here. But for those who don't read the Dailys,
check out a good chunk of the collection's highlights here;
http://www.hyrcollective.com/daily-blog/2009/05/engineered-garments-fall-2009-preview/
There is also an in-depth interview with the designer Daiki Suzuki in the latest edition of h(y)r collective magazine.

Hey everyone,
Thanks a lot for the nice comments and support. ^ I know, I know. I'm trying to get better with the proofreading but sometimes it does get neglected with short turn-around. Trying to get better every issue, so I appreciate the comments.
Thanks again.

Hey, the new issue is out now as of this morning officially!
I suppose we get into some Americana this issue with some chambray, Engineered Garments, Red Wing and some more. It's really the best one yet, I hope you guys like and thanks again for the support.
Thanks Victor! And Ninja

It's been awhile, but I thought I would post in here to let anybody interested know that our 1 year anniversary issue is out/coming out today.
Issue 12 marks a full year of publishing online articles about our favorite brands and products. This is our biggest and most exciting issue, I was super excited to get a great interview with Daiki Suzuki and Engineered Garments, a look in the Red Wing factory, talk with Tres Bien about their new shop and of course unveil our first collaboration products with Tannis Hegan for our duffle bag and with Gitman Bros. for our oxford shirts.
Besides that, we cleaned up the design a bit and did a remake of Take Ivy with new collections and brands and shot it in Victoria, Canada.
I'm pretty excited about it, so hopefully somebody might stumble through here and find something they like.
Thanks,

Just got a pair in size 10. Amazing shoes. Haven't taken them off for a week almost now.

I don't think their collab fleeces are that much. Cost is only $70 or something so it should be under $200 for sure...
I bought 2 NDG knits last winter and love them, probably my favorite sweaters I own.

They will have the Gitman Bros. for h(y)r collective oxfords in a week and a half in soft red, white and grey.

Pity I can't get a response on the virgils, I want them...

Some of you guys are dumb. CP are the best sneakers for sale. 300 isn't even that much money compared to a lot of things. They last years, you'll probably end up spending more on multiple pairs of Vans or those really shitty Adidas models.

Great looking shop, can't wait to visit in June.

Those Yuketen joints are some of my favorites I've seen. I missed out.
It has to be Yuketen, Quoddy or Sperry for boat shoes.

I think the collection is really good. The look book is good and there are a lot of nice knits and jackets. The shall cardigans and pullover, V necks in lambswool, waxed vest, field jacket and trench are all really nice. There is also a really good woolen blazer, good pants and a number of really nice accessories.

Their fabric is quite nice. It's a washed oxford for a lot of the vintage collection, but they have come flannels, herrginbones and madras in the line as well. All of the patterns and materials are the same from the stocks of 10-20 years back.
The feel at least as good as BoO but I find they fit me a lot better and cost far less.

There is also a difference actually between Gitman Bros. and the Gitman Vintage collection - which is going to be showing up in some great shops in the fall.
Also a little collaboration with h(y)r collective magazine might be surfacing pretty soon....

I love the colors a lot, the pieces look great in person as well. The speckled light wools are great. I could go for a handful of these pieces for sure.

I can't really find a whole lot of information on this collection. It looks like it's coming out for the first time next fall. To me it looks awesome. I love the individual pieces and the styling.
Would be nice to find out some prices or stockists

Ya, their shirts are great. Best deal for an oxford shirt in the quality. Their new creative director is doing good things.
