friday at coda means there'll also be a bunch of worthless student jocks there who have no idea who aoki/uffie are.

probably more so than hot AA hipster sluts, unfortunatly.

  3. Frankly these threads pop up once in a while and I can honestly say duties are quite simple to manage in Canada and not that prohibitive if you use USPS. It's especially simple if what you get is from a private seller or one of the myriads of shops that have no problem marking as a gift with less than $50 value (hence no taxes at all).

Oh and if you don't want to get charged brokerage fee by a private carrier you have to go to their distribution center and handle the brokerage yourself.

BTW I paid a total of $55 canadian in duties last year, which is pretty good if you look at some of the things I've posted in "my recent purchases".

hmm i dont want to jinx myself but i agree with fumma. ive paid a total of 0$ in duties and ive bought lots of stuff from all over. uh-oh, im sure i just jinxed myself  .

  4. it makes sense if your dealing with an older/more luxury driven based clientel or if your market is really big/diverse.

but theres lot of fashion foward boutiques that are actually aimed at fashion conscious people under 30 and their size selection still usually sucks the bag.

  5. i dont understand the buys ever either...especially in the smaller boutiques that only get 1-3 of each piece. its like if youre buying 1 of one thing why buy L?? especially when i know first hand you get a thousand calls every day from people desperatly seeking it in XS XXS etc. i actually think it almost gets worse every season. ive heard of bizzare discount incentives if they buy the larger sizes but it still seems kinda stupid.

  6. where the fuck are you gonna find it on sale in your size anyway?

no to alber elbaz. id do thom browne though. for free, even.

i just meant winter jackets in general. here the sales usually start a bit later and no one ever buys anything at full retail so theres usually some good finds if you move fast. i could maybe get the navy one on sale in a S but it fits pretty big and could possibly have sold so we'll see.

  7. i only have 2 light weight sweaters and 1 medium weight and i live on the fucking east coast and i don't have a winter coat and i'm broke!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

dont you have that raf one? seems warm enough to me.

ive been holding off on a winter jacket too...almost slammed down the hammer (pulled the trigger) on the grey ann d one still has in navy. and i dont really like navy at all. but i never leave the house ever so theres no real rush ill just wait until the sales are in full effect  .

  8. you shouldn't want to be extra skinny; just healthier. i could never wrap my head around how girls would want to have sex with a 34" chest dude anyway. just exercise properly (i don't mean go to the gym once a week, and then go out for McDonald's after a workout)

alight porkey thatcher. i could never wrap my arms around this type o' fat retarded logic. you must never encounter girls ever. this just in: theyre impressionable like pillows. and skinny dudes are inherently cooler/better looking thats why we fuck the most babes.

but yeah mostly shark tanks of blow and hey i aint got nothin against the junk.

  9. You can make jokes about it, but there actually is something about this thought that could be interesting. It shouldn't be used as a rule though, as Milspex appears to do.

    Going with this:

    I'd say that this:

would be a good example where the whole is greater than the sum of it's parts.

In a text only waywt his list of brands would certainly raise an eyebrow, yet it looks so good.

    my 2 cnts

i get the whole brand harmony thing and milspex looks great but thats basically just a good example of how to wear all black. doesnt have much to do with brand harmony. chris does the same shit all the time with gap, h&m, muji etcetc. id say its more about individual piece harmony: one of annie dz more period driven pieces would have looked dumb with the raf zipper motorcycle boots but any of here generic knits in black could easily substitute for that one.
