  1. I don't know if anyone would know this, but at brooks brothers the shirts are this really nice non-wrinkle material. You never have to iron them & they never wrinkle. I want to know if the Blackfleece oxford shirts wrinkle. Its not Thom Browne, but still he designes it.

  2. Servo- There's a good article of him with Terry Richardson in the GQStyle issue that's on newsstands right now.

I have to say too, he's in fantastic shape for his age. (he's nude in a picture on the aforementioned article)

    No'omo

But I definitely agree with you about liking him/his work more after learning more about him/his work.

I was just looking at that again. After I brought Thom up in the Martin Margiela thread I re-read that article.

  3. I think a lot of companies are finding they can get away with charging more season after season because the customer is still willing to pay. If you think about it, the people who are able to afford this stuff at retail usually wont scoff at a 10% price increase from the season before.

Most boutiques will tell you that a lot of customers just roll in, pick out $5,000 worth of swag and don't blink an eye. I can only wait until that day....haha.

But anyways; The quality on the stuff is still superb. The button downs, trousers, and jackets are especially nice and the fit is always spot on.

I'm still wanting that quilted leather bomber jacket from F/W...damn that thing was legit!

I totally agree with you about the price increase & I too hope until that day. Thom Browne is one of those designers. He charges suits for 13,000$ now and they increased signifigantly. It really pisses me off. Its not like he is some great designer that has a legacy. He just became popular. Martin Margiela has some of the best basic pieces I love his cardigans.

  4. The name is so different that its supercool. I like how the shorts in the fashion show are wearable length. Most fashion brands such as Prada tend to sell shorter shorts & I don't feel comfortable wearing short shorts. I don't like how the jackets have 6 buttons. It looks kind of tacky to me, but I like alot of the stuff. I don't understand the paint brushes that some of the models are carrying can someone explain? Am I missing a theme ?

  5. who would win in a steel cage death match? les stroud, bear grylls, mike rowe (i fucking hate that guy), adam savage or jamie hyneman?

you don't watch the discovery channel? fuck you guys.

Mike Row pisses me off. I can't stand his voice, and he can't do anything on dirty Jobs he acts like an idiot.

  6. " Hi, this is the tracks list:

Fireworks - Siouxsie & the Banshees

Cities in Dust - Siouxsie & the Banshees

Candyman - Siouxsie & the Banshees

All the tracks are available on itunes

    Cheers"

I just looked at another video of the same Lanvin collection and someone wrote this in the comment area. I think they are wrong, though.

  7. Lanvin is not about being a fashionable company with all the trends. They just stick to classic pieces that can be worn year after year, but with a luxury notion to them. "Their clothing isn't cool, not one bit. In fact I totally recommend buying something different, like Prada." - Golden gloves. I totally disagree with you. I do not think Prada's mensline is cool at all.

  8. Should we remove the feeding tube and let the subforum die gracefully?

    POLL CREATED ;(

If you kill the trash you're not only killing TTrash Shievo, but also part of me. I like your terri shievo comparison there
