Is Late June/early July A Bad Time To Travel To Tokyo?? Weather-wise?

I already bought my plane tickets from June 23 to first week of July. Is this a good time to go to? The main area we're staying is Tokyo but we obviously want to venture out to other city sights.

Apparently it's still rainy season in June..is that true?!?
