Kiya - any chance of you guys getting the SC black studded belt back in stock?
0 -
I'm looking to buy my first pair of FH's. I love the fit of the F310 but don't want to make a mistake, because it will end up being quite expensive. Kiya recommended that I get a size 34 and give them a 30 minute hot soak. Does anyone happen to have post-soak/wear measurements for the F310 size 34? It's either these or a pair of APC New Standards.
The man's right.
Don't have the measurements right now, but I'm a 31 in the New Standards and got the 310's in a 34...
Post-soak fit was spot-on.

I tried a pair of them on in BiG the other week - tight beyond belief. Couldn't even get my legs all the way in to a pair of 31" (my usual size).
Tried them on last week as well. Glad I did. Waist on a pre-shrunk 34 was equivalent to the waist on my soaked FH 310's that I've been wearing for a little. Ended up copping them in a 35. Post-soak fit is good.
Nice details and such on these...

Once we get the cut I'll have to talk more with Gordon about our denim options...nothing has been decided as of now, but if we could actually get a hold of 24 oz. LHT that would be ridiculous.
24 oz.? In the summertime?
That would be ridiculous indeed...

just out of curiosity...
how much longer until the cut is decided?

...but think about it, how bout a classic Samurai cut (like the S5000VX or S0500XX which could account for different taste in cut...just size up or down accordingly) with some crazy LHT denim? Sounds good to me...!
...i'd be good with these cuts...

minimal shrinkage if any...

Awesome Biff good choice. There is minimal shrinkage. I did a hot soak just to test it and the shirt shrank less than .5" If you straight up put it in the dryer (which I don't recommend) it'll shrink closer to an inch in width and half inch in length.
Also the denim will bleed a little bit for the first few wears but I've found that if you wear it often the bleeding dies down pretty quickly. Employ the hot soak if you want to calm the bleeding, hang dry, when its relatively dry throw it in the dryer on low, it'll cause the seams on the shirt to become shiny.
Let me know if you have any other questions and post fit/detail pics when you get a chance I'm always interested to see how people are breaking in their goods.
...thanks for the info...
will do on the pics...
