It's probably the angle at which he took the picture. If you look closely at the floor, it seems slanted towards the left. You can also see his foot in the left side of the picture, so I'm assuming he took a picture looking down at them, and rotated the picture in a photo editing program. The top just looks bigger because it's angled closer to the camera.

My roommate currently has both a pair of New Standards and Nudies, they're both pretty sick... his APCs have faded really well. The only thing I'm concerned with is that I'm not as thin as he is, so I don't want the jeans to look awkward. I don't mind skinny jeans, I just don't want to look like I'm bulging out of them.

On the other hand, I don't want to size up too much and not be happy with the fit in a few months...

Recommendations? Stick with the NS or size down on rescues?? etc?

Size down one from your true size on NS, and you should be set. APCs are also notorious for the amount they stretch. You could even size down two, for a slimmer fit.

After all that work did nothing, we just pissed on one of their windows/doors, and took our cutout back. It's hanging in one of the dorm halls right now, I think.

APCs yield amazing fades. If you take a look at the xxx-gallery thread, you will see a nice collection of APC New Standards. Personally, I like the minimalist style of APC versus the style of Nudies. Nudies jeans are also notorious for crotch rips. I wouldn't know the difference in quality because I do not own Nudies. The back pocket stitching on Nudies are also loud and obnoxious to me.

I have lots of issues with being insecure and lack of self-esteem. I lost my right arm from a car accident when i was 2 years old- all the way to my elbow. I don't like to show my loss of limb to most of people. Due to this, my wardrobe has been limited long sleeve shirts (long time ago, I used to wear xxxl shirts but I decided that I look even worse when I dress like that). Prosthetic arms are either too heavy or uncomfortable for me. But I still get complimented for my style from time to time. But it's just too frustrating for me that I can't wear short sleeve shirts that I want to wear (without jackets, hoodies or wearing long sleeves underneath).

I realize that it's not a big of a deal, but sometimes I just wish for things like that. But I'm not completely depressed/emotional. I still live a great life with great friends to support me. Maybe I just take my appeance too seriously than I should. I even try to look for jobs without wearing those company uniforms, which is pretty pathetic. Why am I posting this, I don't know... It's just all these little things that tick me off from time to time.
