Nothing monumental here, but I hadn't put up photos in a week or two so here are some randoms...

This is an awful photo, but I was a bit drunk when taking it sooo...So friends of mine were in town from Tennessee and we were at a local dive bar in downtown and the train runs by the front of the place. Well we saw the train rolling by so we grabbed our beers, ran out, and rode it a mile or two to a place called Ybor City where we were going to meet some friends anyways. Pretty fun...

Can anyone tell me where to find the patterned Opening Ceremony shorts from SS08. I saw them in an add on the back of some mag, but only got a quick glance before I had to go. They are a creamish color with a navy nautical type pattern.

For those of you who have websites, what would be your best advice for creating a portfolio site. I'm leaning to towards livebooks because it seems like it will be easy to update and there wont be the hidden costs that might come with having someone design it from the ground up...any suggestions?

I've got a few PMs regarding how many soaks and washes so far. Only one soak when I first got them....no washes yet!

Just a little update. So far these have been on two cross country road trips from Tampa to Los Angeles and also spent a week in Columbia!

The threads have started to come out on the back seam...I think i'm going to have a tailor do some minor preventative repairs next week...

I don't usually ride in these jeans, but I was wearing them when we happened to see this wall ride at a gas station in Barstow...

what kind of camera do you use?

These were all shot with a Contax G2 with 28mm lens and sometimes the T200 flash. If you have seen any of my other shots on here, a lot of them were shot with a Yashica T4 or Canon 1N. I Like the Contax a lot because you can create a look similar to the Yashica, but the lens is a bit sharper and it has manual controls.

Thanks! Yeah, its Kodak 160VC. It's funny, I bought a Canon 1D MKII about 3 months ago, but I hardly ever use it. I can't get over how much I like the look of film.

I went last summer. I feel like it is more just a place to visit than to actually shop. Granted they have some interesting books and whatnot, but the clothing selection is pretty weak and marked up too high.

I've been looking for those Cloak shoes for SO long, but I'm pretty much the same size as you! I doubt you'll have a hard time selling them.
