I was wondering if someone could help me out.
Currently I am living in Vancouver and I desperately need a change of scenery. I have heard nothing but good things about Sydney, and since it is so similar to Vancouver (in terms of aesthetics), it seems like a natural choice.
I was wondering how much I should be expecting to pay for rent (for a decent place downtown)? Do I need a car in Sydney? What is the economy/job market like? Any input would be greatly appreciated. Part of me just wants to pack a suitcase and move over there ASAP, but the other part of me wants to think this through.
Cheers!
do it........

im 173cm, 65kg and i wear a small.. some of my older con tees stretched heaaaps.
anyhoo, went to restricted premises for the first time today..
gotta say im disappointed :/ they dont have the prices on any of the tags and when i asked them how much they go for (eg. the nun tee from last season).. they said "$125" and i was like umm isnt there any sale on these? they said "i guess i can give it for 25% off" .. wtf?
same goes with the jeans.
regarding the shoes.. they had mono1 black, mono2 white, some boots (i think it was skeleton key), 2nd chapter and cubism.. not sure of the sizes coz they told me these aren't on sale at all.. lol?
they do stock the complete collection though as i saw some pieces from last season that i havent seen before...
but yeh, was pissed off that i made the trek all the way to kings cross just for that store.. so when i got home, i kopped mono3 shoes off pitbull mansion with that 15% promo code hehe. im a happy chap again ^^
he gave me a discount on my shoes couple weeks ago.. Yeah no prices on the stuff, but it's a heaps small store, so there's no harm asking him.. I think i might pick up a pair of the skeleton boots soon

oh.. And doesn't American Apparel do a good slim slack?

for quality and fit.. There's a brand called scyrte (pronounced shirt).. I tried it on and fit beautifully. made in sydney from imported italian fabrics, apparently looks just as good wrinkled as ironed. Bad thing is.. Only available at restricted premises in kings cross, and costs about $200 a shirt

how dressy? If you're gonna use them a lot maybe spend a bit more.. Chronicles of never and friedrich gray stuff should be coming out soon.. I'm pretty sure they'd have some black slim pants
But otherwise..if you're looking for cheap, and have time.. Go op shopping, and find one that is good material and fits good at the waist.. and get them tapered/slimmed at a tailor or a relative/friend who can sew

there's quite a few pairs at restricted premises.. On sale too.. Boots and cubisms.. Dunno what sizes tho

yeah.. The cubism jeans are probably closer to the ksubi pyramid.. with the dropped crotch

Could you guys in Sydney do me a favour?
I've got a survey for the Australian Superfuture contingent, to figure out what you do with your money. I'm not collecting any personal details; no names, emails or IPs, but if you could spare a few minutes to answer some questions about what you wear, I'll slip you some +rep!
just did the survey for you

..i think its just posture..in that side view photo your ass pops out.. Try tucking your hips/pelvis in, and not sticking you gut out further than your chest
