  1. lol @ unemployed for 5 years..

anyway, i for some reason stopped doing my workout routine the past week and a half and today i'm hit with a bout of the old familiar depression and lethargy i once was accustomed to experiencing daily. super shitty and lame and goes to show how much your daily efforts contribute to a higher standard of living.

tomorrow: ten thousand pushups and 1700 gyals on ma dick OMG

  2. people who for even a moment entertain the notions of "lots of people fail trying to do this" or, "statistically speaking, not many people are sucessful as (profession x)" won't get into the nba, make it as a painter, or as a musician because they're more concerned with not being one of those "failures" than understanding what it takes to become a success.

it's astounding to me, so many friends, and even members of my family are quicker to dish out "statistics" on the adversity i supposedly face as an aspiring musician rather than help facilitate my growth in some way.

stay #POSITIVE people goddamn! just work harder than anyone you know at something you care about and success will be yours.

  3. I won the Western Japan Threestyle Competition and finished 2nd in the nationwide Final with this routine. Hope the SuperFuturians like it:

you seem like a good enough DJ and probably live a fun life playing music for people in Japan, but ugh this shit is rife with cliches and encapsulates everything i hate about music played in clubs.

UGH fuck DJs for the most part, all these people seem to do is perpetuate the cycle of bad music getting played over and over again. how u gonna win a DJ competition in Japan and end your set with house of pain? that's seriously the same shit i could expect to hear at some empty club-bar hybrid on a tuesday night, today or 12 years ago. I don't give a fuck if you mixed it perfectly with jason derulo, i hate everything about it. I'm sure the club was full of zombies dancing away and flipping shit because they heard something familiar.

  4. this is not true at all. Making shoes in Italy is fucking expensive, ridiculously expensive and seems to keep going up as we have all seen. CP is probably making a tiny margin, just big enough to keep their brand going.

If anyone thinks the shoes cost $5 to make and then they mark them up to $300+ you've got a lot to learn.

yeah, definitely aware they don't cost $5 to make, and while I appreciate your perspective, and know you probably have a much more intimate knowledge of how such products are produced, there are a few things about your argument that don't quite add up.

I've purchased 3 pairs of CP starting in spring '07, and still have two of em and wear them regularly. The last pair I got I nabbed on clearance like I mentioned, and that was just before their prices just went cray.

I don't really buy into your thinking that they are increasing their prices in order to make up for increased production costs in italy. reason being, they are, in my understanding, made in the same factory as raf and lanvin kicks, and yet out of the 3 companies CP is the only one that has so consistently raised their prices nearly every season since their inception.

that they are "just getting by" I also don't believe. relatively obscure when I first copped, CP has exploded in the past 4 years, probably not due to me copping. but being featured in magazines like GQ, and getting sold in stores around the world in both small boutique settings (eg., blackbird, odin) or large flagship stores like barney's and neiman marcus definitely has a positive impact on sales. while I also have no solid stats to back up my claims, I'd be willing to risk embarrassment by saying that CP outsells both raf and lanvin annually, and that they're likely making more money, too. so to me, CP's price inflation is not symptomatic of a pricier production market, or out of necessity to stay afloat as a company, but rather a business strategy to make even more money off of idiots who will pay seemingly any MSRP they "suggest" while they're still a hot commodity.

  5. i thought rolling thunder was a remix lol

that song and gucci monsta have been pouring out my van's speakers

destructodisk/DUM you guys should upload your shit on youtube so i can just download them instead of accessing the songs on my iphones internet, then using my iTrip to play in my vehicle!

    +reps

we probably will upload to youtubes sometime, but you can just download from either of these links right

  6. paid $140 for mine on sale though. not sure when, but sometime after you cause I remember seeing yours. I think CP's were around $200 then

    they're $300+ now right?

yeah i got mine from tobi.com, they were the last pair in stock and already deeply discounted, plus i was allowed to apply a %20 off coupon and they qualified for free shipping. #gorgeous

but fuck CP now, super inflated prices for no reason. they're great shoes, but not worth that price.
