if you're going for the real slim look get your true size or 1 size up. going up two sizes would make your waist real loose.

meant to go down to QC and take a second/third/fourth look at the aprils; the rain prevented me from doing that and i had to be happy with buying a graniph button-down instead.

i'm about the same size as you, i got a sz 29 hi-standard. it fits a little loose in the waist but the calves are quite tapered. 28 was just right in the waist but the bottom looked like leggings. hope this helps

im wondering if my black hi-standard april 77 would fade too? its overdyed denim, anyone knows?

between apc new cures and skull 5010xx's, which would you guys prefer? in terms of the fit and everything.

that really depends on how you want your jeans to look. i prefer apc new cures.. the skulls are too straight for my liking.

nice to see more great stuff coming into Singapore, would be even better if you bring in shoes with simpler designs.

the sizing for april 77s are a little weird. tight in the calves but a little loose in the waist when i got my true size..

went to QC just now, and fuckin shocked! they are carrying april 77, every models and for less than 200 fuckin bucks.. god!!

my apc's, once again, have become too baggy in the leg and i don't feel like just putting them asside to never wear them again

now my question is, will the tailor fuck up any of the wear that i have already put into the denim? i have gone back to the same tailor twice and she did a real nice job hemming my jeans, does tapering take that much more skill that i should be concerned with letting just anyone do?

Out of interest why has the straight sven been difficult to sell ? When i tried it on myself i felt the fit was kind of out of proportion compared to slim jim and ralf

because its out of proportion?

thin finns can be worn "anti-fit" meaning loose and low on the hip. if you like this look, get a 27. if you want your jeans to fit tight after the stretch, grab a 26-- remember it will be difficult buttoning them at first. this is advice for dry and not washed denim.

Something more to consider: Nudie produces a number of different styles in the Thin Finn. The nature of the denim varies from style to style (e.g. the dry Thin Finns will stretch more than washed Finns). I would assume you are talking about dry Finns, in which case white_giraffe is offering great advice.

Nice shoes submerged! but i'm kind of looking for slip ons with cloth material not leather.. The closest pair i've seen is at Heeren by Everlast.

Jsn you sure you saw a pair of plain white slip ons at Leftfoot? I thought they carry only nike and adidas sort of shoes(big and loud)
