  1. If I want my new standards to get that ribbing effect (or whatever you call those creases below the waist), do I have to do anything special in terms of taking care of the jeans? Or do they come with those creases already? I can't find anything in the Denim encyclopedia or this thread that addresses that (and I don't know much about denim care or the terminology to begin with, so I apologize if this is a trivial or stupid question).

edit: if i can get my apc's to look like that once they finally arrive, i will be very very happy.

a raw piece of apc denim would not have that ribbing effect aka whiskers. the easiest and best way to do it is just by simply wearing your jeans hard. don't treat it softly, that way you get less contrast(unless you want lesser contrast) The only thing you need to take note of is the detergent used to wash the denim, at least for me that is.

  2. help guys! i love the april 77 fit, but i want to get an apc new cure. the apc new cure is great except for the end which is a little too loose to my liking. should i get the apc new cure and taper it to match the april 77s or just get the joey overdrives? i'm lost!

  3. Yeah, guys already have limited labels to buy from, let alone girls who have tons of outlets everywhere and those livejournal sprees. It's always that same top with tights, or black skinny with flats/heels/chucks.

On another point, I have friends who think paying more than $70 for a pair of jeans is stupid. Wow.

they're more concerned about their 3G handphones and 1k graphic cards. we should organise sprees here more often. there's one going on already, keep the good stuff coming in guys!

  4. in my experience, these people have a not so trendy dress sense due to their perception that t-shirts should only cost 20 bucks and shoes exceeding 50 dollars is a waste of money. As such, they turn to brands such as giodano and bossini which have imo zero style. Malays do have a better dress sense than Chinese in Singapore, after all i got the courage to wear skinny jeans after seeing them brave Orchard road with their tapered Levi's.

  5. got a call 2 days ago from front row. their new stock for apc new cures have arrived. smallest size 25 available as well for those of you who've been waitin.

they were supposed to call me too! they promised : (

Any regarding the muji berms, is the quality okay? i bought shirts from there before, after washing it stretched everywhere up to almost a size, very disappointed. any other reccomendations?

  6. plongin. you should. what took you so long?! damn. that chick is.... ()*&(^%$^&%£&*&(* trust me. if you ever get her number. let's go out together. haha.

the SA at QC owns her, seriously. Have the small sizes for New Cures arrived yet? Been waiting a long long long time. To whoever who wanted raw black denim from cheap monday, i remembered seeing black overdyes from cheap monday at QC.

  7. i like the SA with the short hair though. damn cute. If i can get discount i wouldn't mind, haha! I just came back from Belief. Nothing much over there if you ask me.

edit: he has a wife i guess, saw a older looking lady at the shop. sorry if you're here! =P

  8. Hi, started a new thread due to the last one being abused by angry angry sfers. I've been to KL last december and found nothing much at all. I've looked through the list at supercities and wonder if there's any new shops to check out? For you info, i would be staying at the Royale Bintang next monday. Would not have much time to shop since i'm on a basketball trip. Any great shops to look at near that hotel? (not bape, stussy and that kind) Would be great if there's a shop selling pointed shoes though. Last but not least i'm male. : )
