  1. These Grey Days (Dior Homme version), by Eight Legs. It reminds me of winter time and all the (pardon the pun) grey days that bring me down. The song also reminds me of Hedi's true genius and how he has helped revolutionise the ultimate 'Dior Man'. He was a true inspiration for me, and his Spring 06 collection brought my understanding and love for fashion to a completely new level. You could almost say, the songs along with the clothes have subconsciously made me a better dressed person than I used to be.

Drink to Moving On, by Grand National. This is one of my all time favourite songs, actually. It's one that reminds me of my earlier days, growing up in the cold and often miserable Sweden and Norway. The only thing I could look forward to was the snow and all the endless weekends of snowboarding. Here's a nice video, I thought would be nice to share with ye all.

    ties for the groomsmen

That will be a sweet wedding for sure... what are the bows for? Do the ties come in some sort of a bag? Their garment bags have those straps, but I'm not sure how they work with the ties...

  3. probably not untill november-december. late.

I was in DSM today actually, spoke to the people on B1F, who said that they sold out most of their April77 Winter collection in July/August and do not plan to re-stock anytime soon. I'm not sure how this works out in the US. Have any of you gotten hold of anything from this collection? Online possibly?

  4. Does anyone know when this collection will actually be released (seeing as they released their spring collection quite late this year). We're already started with autumn, most brands have already released at least something from their winter collection... I'll be in Lond tomorrow to check out Dover Street Market, Selfridges and Behave. I'm on the hunt for a good peacoat, preferably in navy or grey. I also NEED those champagne cord joeys. I NEED them. So if anyone has any info on the official release, then pm me please.

    Cheers

  5. P.S. Anyone else here like what KVA did for Dior better than any of his own full collections, I know I do.

Not to kill your enthusiasm, but I disagree. Somehow got the feeling that KVA might have put more passion and possibly more 'life' into his own Spring 08 collection. I loved the fantasy/fairy-tale implications; with just the right amount of avant-garde to make any seriously fashion-savvy man envious.

I felt that KVA came accross as a bit rectrictive in his choice of outfits and designs for the new Dior Homme, almost as if he was somehow seeking approval of LVMH. I hope his next DH collection will be as quirky as his own line.

  6. Just as I opened flick'r to add new photos, I stumbled accross the page of an extreme FOB-loving photo-fanatic. Why he/she has so many pictures of Japanese girls (which all seem to come from WAYWT type threads/forums), I have no idea.

  7. I visited Milan mid-spring this year. I also happened to have won a trip to Italy and a digi camera (actually my dad won, but offered me the prize instead) so will probably be returning some time soon. Here's a map I made that I thought might come handy. :D

  8. My situation is basically I'm on a low budget (anywhere up to £400) and in need of a slim-fitting dinner jacket (not the 'classic' cut crap found at Moss Bros. Hire) for an event which is on the 4th July.

Can anyone recommend a suitable shop/place/online store where I can buy in a UK size 34 (or 36 if absolutely necessary)?

    Cheers
