  4. I think this contest is going to be great, recently went in to SE to take a look at their Dry Bones and im quite impressed. and from what ive read, imo Its slow fading qualities will definitely set the types of fades apart from the recent WH contest.

..also operationjake, i know you wont take a gander at my post because of low post count, but it has to be said...your a douche, sorry if some of us didnt get 2 reps and 5 pms asking us to post pics of our jeans. I didnt know that having more or less of these tiny green squares correlated to how important our opinions were.

    continue with the jean talk...

  5. i agree with laishin, larger stacks, i.e guys like us in the 5' 6"-5' 7" range + 36"-37" inseams, can get away with them if the hem is slim enough. i believe the hem of the dukes measure at 8" if im not mistaken. instead of hemming you could taper them, and leave the inseam be. i think i saw a pic of someone who had tapered their dukes and they looked real nice.

  6. yea not worried,

well maybe, I think I could of probably sized down 2 and got away with a better fit in the waist after stretching.

give em a couple more soaks, or just hot wash/hot dryer, theyll shrink some more.

  7. give it some time .legacy, took almost 3 weeks before my jeans stretched enough for me to wear em lower. however i did soak/hot dryer em 2 more times after the initial soak to get the shrinking out of the way, now theyre real comfortable.

  8. ^^BxJ, you should be fine sizing down one, my true waist is 31" and i went with a sz30. theyre really snug at first and you wont be able to wear them as low as you want to. the first two weeks or so they sat rather high, but after some coaxing they now sit at my hips, which im assuming is where you want yours to sit. keep in mind that this was for the last shipment and if i recall correctly someone mentioned that the new shipment is expected to shrink a little more after its first soaks/washes. so be wary of that but im sure itll stretch to about the same.

  9. wow, im amazed at how many pairs of jeans some have been able to go through, or maybe i just havent had quite enough time to frolic in the sufu denim world these past 2 yrs

    pre sufu

Gap, lots of em, loose fit >>>slim bootcut

old navy, grey carpenter jeans FTW

levis 501 worn way too big and sagged way too much

    post

501 stfs...trial pair of raw denim, i actually thought these jeans were tight...

    apc ns

    sammie 710s

hopefully i can dabble in some dior or maybe some dior inspired cuts (SExI) in black in the future

  10. plz keep us updated on this doke, im also real interested in buying a suit from them, also how much is a TaT suit now? there suits look very well constructed and the fits are point but i want one it to be slighlty more on the conservative side, maybe a two button, notched lapel, rather than the high gorged 3 or even the 1 button.
