  1. i don't know if this is going to make any difference, but of all the people that wear Diors on here you're one of the people that i think wears them VERY well. seriously, everytime i've caught you in the WAYWT thread wearing them, i think THAT'S the way they are supposed to look! your total fits are always spot on and sharp!

sorry for bumping this up and making you think you had an offer.

Yeah, I know they look good when I do them right. But I need a workhorse jean, something I can wear everyday. I just got a good deal so I bought them, but it turned out they were too skinny to wear with everything (I'm very athletic, I work out all the time so I have a big upper body) I could only wear them with things that made my top half look skinny, otherwise I look silly.

Also, what's with all the people coming out of the woodwork to pm or post that they like my look now? Where are you guys on my rep list! heh.

Ok: I got a lot of PM's about these, so instead of replying to all I'm going to post pics in the thread.

This is with a digicam, pic is before I started acually wearing the jeans, just for comparison.

These pictures are after roughly a month of wear:

And the mentioned flaw, I must have caught it on something. This picture is lit with a desklamp because I couldn't get it to show up otherwise.

Besides the scratch these have no significant wear on them, I just didn't put enough time on them to start real creases.

  2. what does "true 32" even mean, do you know that?

a 32 will be too small for you.

    things to consider;

    what waist actually means

hips, where you wear your jeans

    rise

I'll let you figure it out for yourself. There are measurements on fabfour.

I'm aware of the measurements, but I'm getting wildly different accounts from the pictures posted here.

True waist is: measurement across the point where you wear your jeans, +.5in for comfort. Usually I buy one size down from true waist to account for stretching. I've never had to ask a question like this because I'm usually confident in my measurements vs. listed measurements, but this thread has thrown some doubt into the mix.

  3. Are you absolutely sure your true waist is a 31.5? Because my true waist is a 31.5 and I wear 29 in Dior which are huge now, and would thus suggest a 30 one washed in the Skulls for a good fit (that is what I purchased, at least). Since the grey's 'might' be tighter and you probably don't want it too tapered, you could go with a 31 O/W to be safe, but 32 is too much i think.

    Ok.

I think the 31's are it then.

Regarding the taper, how did you feel it compared to the dior 19s?

  4. Oh god. Time to newb it up.

Ok, before I get negrepped to shit, I checked 10+ pages back and I'm afraid since no-one can come to a consensus on sizing I'm going to have to ask.

I'm getting a pair of 5010 1-wash greys. My concerns are: Waist size, I'm getting people saying true waist is WAY too tight (the pic a few pages back) others think it's good. I'm a true 31.5, I was thinking of getting the 32. Good call?

Taper: I find my dior 19cm raws (32 waist) are great at the top, but taper a little too much for my liking. Advice from others have indicated that the taper is closer to the 21cms, which I'm ok with, but I'd like another opinion.

  5. I've struggled with these forever, I really want to like them, I love them as an item but I just don't look right in super tapered jeans.

These have probably a month of actual wear on them. Minor creases at the top. No significant fades. There is a small scratch by one of the pocket "scars".

Tagged 32, that's about right. measures 17 flat. 34 inseam.

You all know what these are like, just ask or PM if you want specific info or pics.

  6. THERE ARE NO HARD AND FAST RULES WHEN IT COMES TO GETTING YOUR PEEN INSIDE WOMEN

There are so many fucking lowbrow jokes possible from this statement that I've actually seized up.

  7. Additionally, look into high end second hand shops in your area. I picked up a Costume National suit that was F/W 04/05 for under 200$ recently, perfect condition. Another hundred dollars at my tailor and I had a perfectly fitted runway suit for a fifth of the original price.

Since you don't know the price of a DH suit I imagine you're probably not so into fashion that you care about having THIS VERY YEARS EXACT STYLE, so that may be an option for you. If you find something it will end up being a hell of a lot nicer than a Zara suit.
