  1. the toe studs alternate between round and spiky.

    here's where we're at:

still on the fence. went through some helmut lang archives this morning for some context to rationalize keeping them and they really aren't that clownish. i mean obviously they are but it's fashion. if i keep them i can rock them based upon my style. they are terribly agressive which is a fun thing but wearability as i get older is the issue.

masuerte, in terms of a proper costume, they seriously work with my style. tartan trousers, jodhpurs, attenuated denims, dior dhoti pants plus slim suiting. they honestly do work.

thank you everyone for opinions. they really are helping. got four more days to deliberate.

  2. golden gloves, remember those black trousers we went back and forth, pm style, on a while ago? i could get those plus the red/black check zipper ones if i return these boots.

so on the fence with these. i could rock 'em and rock well but if i return them the rO hi top trainers pretty much have to happen as i'm in a zip boot shortage.

so glad i'd never have to contemplate abortion.

  3. the front is comprised of metal spikes and circular studs. when i first saw them at the show they were perfect. i'm a fool for ornamentation (usu steel) and i thought there was a zipper near the back heel. the sa i spoke with this past summer confirmed this.

the leather is superglossy and there are great understated burgundy paint splotches but i'm thinking of cutting my loss, returning them and getting something else.

golden gloves, honestly if they didn't have the studs i wouldnta bought them.

    thanks for the words everyone.

  4. alright fellas, i made a huge stink at the comme ny flagship about these boots in march, did a little psychotic follow up in june the boots were held for me for a month and finally i bought them, my must have aw 07 boots a week ago.........

....and when i opened the box the first thought in my mind was "no." i hated them. after trying them on and playing around with style options i don't hate them that much but for what i paid there should have been a smile at least.

so the problem is to keep or to return them.

    any advice would be helpful.

    thank you.

  5. please feel free to enter into discourse for this collection, fellows. think about pairing many pieces with simons spring 2008 collection. the tulip silhouette on trousers is a proper proposal. maybe more stereotypically MAN than prada a/w 06, 07 stylie even. just some thoughts. anyways, enjoy.

  6. I roll with boxer briefs, so much better than boxers for skinny pants. Tighty whities'd probly be even better if I had the balls.
Oh, I actually have a legit post. For the people who wear skinny/tight pants, do you guys wear underwear, boxers, or boxer briefs? I have some super comfy cotton boxers, but they tend to bunch and create bumps along the thigh, even after they're smoothed out (Since the excess cotton has to go somewhere). So I've been going back to the scratchy thin blended boxers. What do you guys do?

i actually have the balls to wear tighty's but never whiteys.

either coloured briefs or boxer briefs. find the best fit goes as follows:

dH coloured briefs. no line.no harm. no foul.

cloak either/or. the cotton is thickly spun so you're good to go

    julian red washed either/or unwashed-briefs

    for diesel see cloak

    raf simons coloured briefs

  7. maybe more paradigm shattering than revolutionary no?

his is a cut that refers to 50s american male tailoring with a clear nod to yamamoto and ferre' in some styling looks for presentation this season. the infusion of idealized 60s beachwear contributes to his ongoing proposal of gender fluidity examples in skirts from a/w 07 and womens wear beach towels in current showing.

always an interesting show but should possibly leave the catwalk-show-effect-florets to the undercovers, mcqueens and pilatis of the world.

idk i guesss its maybe just in my eyes i see it as revolutionary. Although, i know his cuts and attentions to such quality tailoring really inspires me and my way of thinking about traditional menswear. But who knows just my thoughts..(idk not thinkin straight right now kinda outta it so maybe i should shut up already)
  8. Thanks I think I'm gonna pass on the jacket, especially if its double breasted. Pants sound great though, I'll try to track them down in NYC.

i have this trouser. it is sold out in boutiques in 46 if you require tht small. and photos do not do it justice. it is pure heaven.

  9. unfortunately, they dont ship sales items or orders under $200

tomorrow i miiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight buy more stuff from them. pm w/what you want to purchase and i'll ship to you when the goods ship to me.
