I went today and asked the guy about the backpacks. I asked if they were going to be around much longer and if they were getting different ones when the store reopens. He told me the black one is sold out and to ust wait becuse next season should have some ill bags. He seemed like a real nice guy so I'm sure it was true. He also said the store is going to close down in like 2 weeks and reopen on the 6th of sept. This is all word of mouth from the LA store btw.

just tried to buy this seasons supreme backpack from LA store. took it to the counter the guy immediately said "soldout". he said they needed it for display. is this likely or was he just being an arsehole? any other store and i would have believed him (infact any normal store witha proper business model would have sold me the display bag) but after reading this thread im doubting whether its sold out.

im in la after travelling around central america so i dont have any of my decent clothes with me, just cheap stuff to travel in, could this have been why?

i hope it was sold out.

HI, I've had a little bit of a look but thought it would be more efficient to create a new thread, the city guide isnt working for some reason (was it ever?).

Basically, I'm travelling to LA on the way back from a months backpacking in Mexico/central america, rather than just transfering back home ive decided to spend a couple of days as ive never been to america before. This is all happening in mid August btw.

1. Where should i stay? Good hostels preferably as I'm backpacking. Close to everything i'm going to want to do.

2. What are the best shops and where are they? I heard theres a new APC shop and and i'll be having a look in Supreme but doubt they'll be much there in August. So basically high end streetwear/casualwear etc.

3 . Good places to visit? Bearing in mind I'm only there for 2 days/nights so only the essentials.

Plus any other tips would be welcome. Thanks!

I wish there wasnt such a difference between the medium and the larges for those Cheuse shirts. The medium like a AAA small where as the large is a Supreme large.

oh and the cheuse medium is nothing like an AAA small, if anything its slightly bigger than a normal stussy medium. Size small is more like an AAA small.

also, props to seenmy, looking good there.

how come these are US only, cant be that hard to EMS them out to UK? I'm really really interested in the whites.

thats weird, my snake eyes tee definately fits a little smaller than my older tees, but the quality is definately on par with all the others...

hmm, perhaps you're right, just checked my other supreme tee from this season and the quality is about the same as older supreme, ive worn and washed the snakeeyes tee more so perhaps its just that.

yeah they've definitely changed tees, my snakeeyes one from this season fits much smaller than my bronx bull tee from winter 06, i prefer the smaller fit as the old medium is too big for me.

the quality seems worse though, my older tees are much thicker than the snakeyes one. i also have a wolfmother but am too scared to wash it, looks like its hand wash only from those pictures...
