  1. 6ft 160lbs (been eating a lot lately :()

I want to fight everyone posting stats with meters and kilograms. I'll let them slide unless they try to pull that shit here state side. We don't tolerate that nonsense in america. Everyone needs to learn our ways as to not inconvenience me.

  2. I'm definitely excited but also kinda depressed because i know i don't have any equipment to properly listen to these and get the most out of the remastered releases.

I hear you guys on the vinyl though. I have a small collection of like 50 currently (used to be more) i think and they're a bitch to move. During my most recent move i had to part with some of them because i simply didn't have room in my car to transport them. Gave them to my friend since i knew they'd have a good home. I only have a small mediocre sounding portable record player with built in speakers just to have something to use them on. I enjoy having them and also the process of going to 2nd hand record shops and thrift stores. Found a lot of great albums for 99cents at a few thrift stores in florida.

The music in public convo is interesting. I don't like it as much for just walking around a small area like a campus, busy street or downtown where you will be shopping and stuff. I do use headphones (or earbuds since i lost my nice headphones) when taking public transportation a good ways and for when i have long walks alone through sparse areas between subway/bus/metro stops and my house.

  3. Damn. this was the best thread on sufu since TOJ. Gonna check those birks out.

Are they thin enough to put over normal soles and not change the size of the shoes much? Or are some of you guys cutting out the original sole or something and if so, how are you doing that?

  4. more like bitching

not directed towards you but those who had the unfortunate circumstance to be picked on by someone, word to advise-learn how to fight your own battles and when you are wrong be man enough to own up to it

there has been times that things I don't like has been said about me and I either a) fight back or B) move on cos I don't care. it's been more a then b especially during my first few months here and I was a bit sensitive and all but I never ever went to a mod and complained

cos guess what if I didn't like the responses I'm getting I can simply not post and if I wanted better responses I would look at why I got the reactions I got. perhaps it IS me!!

I also solidly believe if someone is attacking you utterly out of spite with no grounds someone will defend you

Pretty sure hap wanted everyone to stop with long posts that could be replaced by 1 snarky line. Please, next time just say:

    stop with the bitchassness, people

lowrider- that looks better than your last fit, which honestly just wasn't looking that good in terms of proportions. You wear a ton of different styles so sometimes they just look a bit off. It's bound to happen considering your wardrobe seems to be neverending.

  5. If people don't like the trash, why do they browse? I think the main problem the mods had a few years ago was that certain supertrash beef or posting styles (wEsTiDe type stuff) spilling over into the other sections of sufu. I don't really see that happening much if at all in the past year or so. People don't have to post in waywt trash edition. That's why there is the normal one and the denim one.

waywt trash is more about extra photos, goofing around, praising fits, giving advice, debating the way we evaluate outfits (what robi was doing and was interesting more so than people just giving pats on the back all the time), and being catty. If people just want fits and no chatting, you go to the other ones. I don't really see a problem other than that Hap doesn't like the nature of a handful of posts and posters in the trash.

People catch feeligns all the time and that's not 1 person's fault. It happens when people disagree. Usually, it blows over and the two people debating get over it and go back to normal. If hap didn't jump in and try to flex the muscle, i'm pretty sure that whole discussion would've died shortly.

  6. If one were to re-read the last few days posts in this thread, it's pretty clear that the conversation was as such:

jmatsu critiquing lowrider's fit, lowrider reponse, robi adding his aesthetic opinion, which it were... and then haptronic coming to lowrider's e-rescue, whereby I believe it was you hap, who began the derailing of the thread, speaking about jmatsu's historical sufu career and your personal nitpicks, was it not?

Few pages later, personal exchange between jmatsu and you, and you hit the red button for both he and robi? Are we coming to the visit at the foot of a king here?

If you wanted to compare sheer contributions to the forum, jmatsu and robi have you beat by miles hap. If you want to pare everything down to 'well this is a fashion forum and we only speak fashion here' when things get a little tough, then jmatsu and robi have contributed far more on that end than nearly anyone else. There are some people who feel they contribute here by reposting some other fashion forum material here, those two from Hawaii have been bringing a lot of sufu-minded new things to this forum, a lot of it from Japan. They are indeed a strong part of this forum, whether you as an individual like it or not, and sufu will miss out on a lot of good things without them, many of the things that make this site different, in fact.

If it's a matter of 'oh I'm the moderator and I should get a pat on the groin for all my hard work,' well, at this point, it's pretty clear you've been coasting on your emotions for a good portion of this year hap, and let's face it, getting mad and clicking buttons on whims is neither hard work, nor is it fair. Other people out there would gladly take over for you and probably do a better job at this point. If it's a matter of who gets to hold the ball, then I'm sure people wouldn't even bother with you, if they didn't feel you would impulsively auto-ban them.

Additionally, is it solely jmatsu and robi who aggressively critique waywt's? I believe I remember a post by you haptronic, a couple weeks back, in which you blasted mpcec as a train wreck in a pretty snarky tone, which I'm sure you probably sat back and got your lulz on, this moment amongst others.

Superfuture has come a long way since jmatsu started posting, and all of the credit by no means can go entirely to him, robi, or haptronic. That includes the good times and the bad times. Neither does that refer to only myself, but hey, I feel I should get to have a say in this, after all I do pay the site. ;)

    Well written, dis.

Sayword- i think everyone is hanging out in the TOJ sponsored thread now. Who is that guy you posted above? He doesn't look familiar

  7. malaesthetique/robideux don't use the same straight forward internet sufu lingo and bare bones style but it's not that big a deal. I mean, i follow what he's saying fine and it's a welcome change from posters trying to fit in using various forum memes. Forums are nice because they're usually short, simple posts and if the entire forum was like this, i probably wouldn't browse as much since it'd take more time than the usual 1sentence posts, but 1 poster doing so isn't a big deal.

If anything, malaestheitique has fine word synergy because it seems like he types like that consistently and has a reputation for it. Talking about reductionism, philosophies on aesthetics and so on seems pretty in line with using higher vocab so the synergy seems there. I don't really care about alienating people but never have a problem with his posts since the ones i actually read usually make sense.

  8. loved mine til it broke for the 4th time. ps3 time

Sersiously. xbox360 is the shittiest made system of all time. I don't know anyone's that hasn't broken at least twice.

So when you get the red ring of death or whatever it's called, is there any way to get it fixed? Mine did that a couple times, then went back to normal for a month or two, not does it again.

  9. *** WeSc Red windbreaker w/ hidden hood size M- $60

    picture008cr4.jpg

Size medium and fits like a true M. Could fit a S if you like your stuff slightly oversized. I'm between a small and medium and it was great on me because i wanted it a bit oversized. It's a waterproof nice material with a hidden hood you can wear or zip up into the collar as you can see in the pic. Lightly lined with a soft material so you don't have to feel the windbreaker material on your skin. Great jacket.

    pit to pit- 20

    shoulders- raglan

    length- 26.5

*** Muji White button down size M- SOLD SOLD SOLD

*** Vintage Gas Mask Bag- SOLD SOLD SOLD

Might have more things in the future so check back but if you have any questions email me, although i think i answered most everything in the descriptions.

  10. *** Comme Des Garcons Homme + Deconstructed Sneakers size 9-10 SOLD TO A VERY GOOD STYLISH HOME

These are really cool spring/summer sneakers from CDG H+. I actually have the tag and original box if you want them. They're a cool deconstructed, raw edged, and slightly frayed look to them in a perfect spring/summer color. They fit between a size 9 and 10. I'm a 10.5 and they're too small for me. If anyone knows where i can find these in a size up lemme know because i love the styling. I'm not shipping the box anymore because of the move and i'm reducing bulk

*** Spring Court canvas lows size 43- $SOLD

You guys know the deal on these. The infamous john ennon shoes. Super super comfortable removable insole you can switch to your other shoes whenever you wanted which is cool. Nice breathable canvas. They have normal marks you'd expect from white canvas shoes but nothing extreme. If you take the soles out you can wash them and make them clean white again but i think they look nice like this. Someone buy these because i'm not going too low or i'm just gonna keep the soles and chuck the shoes.

*** Diesel "Cloak Aviator Lookalike" pants size 31- $45

    The Diesel Pants

    picture050d.jpg

    The Cloak Pants

    dsc2258assmartobject1.jpg

You have to admit with the exception of the elastic waist and hem they're pretty similar. The Diesel ones have adjustable straps on the hem to make it even smaller if you wanted. Low rise, and skinny fit, they're pretty cool pants. The front zipper tab isn't there but they still zip up and down fine. They are pretty skinny so best for a size 30 or 31.

    waist- 15.75

    length- 33

    f rise- 9.75

    hem- 6.75- 7"

*** Opening Ceremony x Uniqlo Linen khakis size L (japanese L) or 32 US- $35

    001jxk.jpg

    002mdq.jpg

These are cool linen khaki pants from the s/s Opening Ceremony x Uniqlo collection. Don't let the size L fool you because as anyone who has tried on the collection, they're japanese sizing and everything fits a size smaller. These are best for a size 32. They aren't skinny fit, but do have a nice relatively slim fit to them with a slight taper.

    waist- 16.5

    inseam- 34

    hem- 8.25
