  1. I have a Nikon EM. Nikon released it as an cheap, economy camera that's easy to use. There's a bunch of E-Series lenses that are cheap that go with it. It's aperture priority, which I don't mind. And if the battery on the camera dies, you can switch it to M90 (I think...) which is a set shutter speed and works mechanically. There's also a long exposure setting, that is also mechanical. The shutter stays open until you release it. Pretty basic camera, small size, and cheap. I like it.

  2. not that this may still be relevant to you anymore (perhaps to others)

    Thin Finns

-- white giraffe what kind did you get -- dry (100%) or dry comfort (98%)? and how are you wearing them (antifit? or true)? do you have any pics? how much did you size up for the anti-fit if yer wearing them like that?

I'm wearing a 30x32 in the dry stretch (2%, orange stitching). It's my normal size in all jeans. The waist is not loose or tight and the legs are very skinny, not skin tight, except they do hug my calves (but i think they're supposed to). They fit normal when I got them. After a while of wearing, since they've relaxed a bit, they've become anti-fit. I'll try to borrow my roommates digital camera sometime to post up the fit and fade so far.

  3. they're actually not that tight if you are a regular size 29. for some reason my thin finns in the same size are tighter, but the long john have a 1/2in smaller hem. it might be because they use different denim material. anyway, if you decide you may want to trade here are the measurements.

    waist: 16in.

    fr. rise: 8in.

    b. rise: 13in.

    thigh: 10.5in.

    hem: 6.5in.
