  1. I've had the olive CPO for several years. I love it, mostly use it for an overrshirt. I saw the navy and the olive, the olive was my choice. Great fabric either way.

Regards to stiffness, I feel I could stand my olive CPO on it's own, very stiff.

  2.  It's been awhile since I've signed in, but I needed to.

I recently bought the salt & pepper Miner chinos, and I have to say they are quickly becoming a favourite. The fabric is beautiful (great weight and texture), and the fit is amazing. The craftsmanship is superb; the details are perfect (the pockets, <3).

  3. I think it's been mentioned before, but everything I've seen with the Made & Crafted brand looks pretty ordinary. And that's being kind.

I hope I start seeing some of this new stuff in the stores soon. The Chinos Paul posted look awesome.

  4. I wear a size 26 NS that measured 28" when I bought them, but stretched out to 30". Should I buy the size 27 rockers (measure 27.5 in waist) or size 28 rockers (measure 29 in waist)

I want them to stretch out to 30"

I don't believe that the 27s will stretch out 2.5". I would get the 28s and wear a belt so they don't stretch past 30".

I have a pair of 1950s, and the waist has stretched about an inch after a year of wear. BUT...I always wear a belt.

  5. I'm getting a little tired of them right now since I've been wearing them for over a year, but I love my KMW 1950s.

They have a classic cut, awesome denim, great details and are seemingly bullet-proof. If you want fast faders look elsewhere, but if you want jeans that will hold indigo these are them.

  6. You strongly consider buying a pair of 300$ jeans for your friendly neighborhood hobo to wear for a year.

    Done.

Well not a pair of $300.00 Sammies, but I did give my building's maintenance man a pair of Gap Morrison selvedge jeans because I knew that he would destroy them. He works construction, and does a lot of outdoor work. He also has a pair of generic Chaps jeans that have amazing wear. He's got some pretty cool jean jackets as well. Not a lot of contrast, but a ton of wear and tear.

  7. can anyone give me some insight about the fit of 811's on the thighs? (I have athletic thighs) considering them as my next raw

Go with your natural waist if you want a snug fit. Go one size up if you want a bit of room. Go one size down if you want to re-sell them on supermarket.
