What Is the diff between the Standards and the New Standards

I have a size 29 NS worn about 7 times

standards have a half inch higher rise, as far as i know, that's the only difference

price dropped, and trades now welcome, looking to trade for an equally new and lightly worn pair of 29 new standards

if you are about to faint, you need a bigger size

i still need to know if it's just a 28 in the STANDARD that's too small, will the NEW STANDARD be any different?

cause according to what people have been saying on this thread, if i fit a 30 slim jim, i should be wearing a 28 new standard....but i got standards because it was all i could find, and the 28 is so damn tight it's strangling my stomach, making me almost feel faint, would a 28 in a new standard be any different? or should i simply size up to a 29?

would you guys say APC jeans stretch more than nudies, or much more?

well, those are 28's in a standard, which are designed to be worn closer to your real waist, i'm looking for new standards, which have a lower rise, and should (according to all my research) fit PERFECTLY after a few days of stretch

those ones i'm selling can button up, and from what i'm told, that means they'll stretch to fit after a few days...i just want jeans that'll sit lower essentially

hrm, well if i can't sell them, maybe i'll try stretching them out around the house for a few days, then getting the rise adjusted so they sit closer to my hips, they look REALLY tight around my ass too though :/

Hey guys, just bought some size 28 standards off alleytroop, they're god damn beautiful, worn very lightly while at my computer to get an idea for the fit, still with the information tags in the pocket and everything. Unfortunately, a 28 seems too tight for me in APC, despite the fact that I wear 30 in nudies. I'm letting these go for $105 shipped.

Also I have a slightly worn (maybe 5 times max) never washed size Medium 10 deep yacht master hoody. Will let it go for $80 shipped.

I will update with pics later on, just gonna go make some badly needed food right now.

***edit: just thought i'd clarify, i'm selling the standards because of the rise i need something with a lower rise, the standards have an approximately half inch higher rise than the new standards, and because of this, the 28 are too tight around my waist...other than the rise length, these are the EXACT SAME cut as a new standard

okay guys, tough call here for me, i just tried on some standards that i bought off alleytroop, they are size 28, can barely button the top button when wearing them way up on my actual waist

i'm going to sell these, and try and get some new standards in 28 (because i wear slim jims in a 30, and those have a bit of room, and the concensus seems to be to size down two in new standards)

will the NS jeans fit better than the S jeans? or will they still be too tight despite the lower rise?

my advice...don't wear af1s, if you're wearing skinny jeans (a la NS or slim jim) then you need to wear something bigger like a dunk or jordan, if you're wearing SUPER skinny jeans (a la new cure or thin finn) then slip-ons are doable

asian magazine stores? don't exist where i'm from (at least to my knowledge)

i'm just wondering if there's anything in particular that's cheaper to get there, if not significantly, i'm just going to stick with the gaming magazines
