Yeah turned out great, but my ralfs were quite tight in the thighs already and I was only doing it from the inseam where the flare was. If you take it in too much from the inseam the legs will twist. If you really want to slim them properly, take them in from both sides and cutt off your selvage.

This will probably get locked but those are legit. I don't think there is even such a thing as fake samurai (yet). You have bought a version that was sold in the USA, hence the red tab and arcs were cut off.

Yeah you just do it from the inseam, its a simple job for most tailors, you will lose your chainstitch though. I did this to my RRDS last year, cost me about 20 bux.

If the seams are felled it might make it harder though.

Nah, its a slim straight leg, the 66 model used to be the 3008 but has now been replaced by the 3009.

Only been on sufu for a few months and have really loved following all the denim contests/tours going on and would really love to be a part of one of these. So I guess my question is, how often are these contests held? (realizing that the Warehouse one is just getting started) and is it too early to ask when the next one will be? Thanks

Usually contests don't start till the other ones finish, preparations seem to happen quite a few months before the start date, your probably in for a 9 or so month wait till talk of the next contest starts.

#1Is there a way to shrink JUST the length of the jeans? cuz the waist for mine are 'perfect' but way too long maybe I should wear them while drying?

If you want to take anymore than an inch off your jeans,especially if they are preshrunk, just get them hemmed at tailor. Otherwise maybe you can soak only the legs in boiling water and then try to dry them with a hairdryer...

If they are unsanforised, soak everything but the waistband, or soak them with yourself in them.

New cures and 710s are my picks. New cures fade faster and better than finns, 710 is just such a nice cut, although maybe abit too high rise for some shorter folk.

Use mink oil. Oil it lightly with an old t-shirt, leave overnight then wipe the excess off.

I'm guessing they'd be slightly different, I think in most cases the WH's will win over the skulls. They were voted most beautiful faded denim and more importantly, they are out of production, although still readily available.

qom was one of the first people on superfuture to get 3001s. I think we were telling him only to remove the "ribbons" to turn them into levi's arcs but he took the whole stitch off instead, still looks good though.

There was a guy that did that on mynudies with the weights and he got 10cm extra length out of it. Crazy!

Hrmm quite peculiar, I'm tempted to say thats normal but it looks abit strange, especially since its new. I would probably ask someone more experienced, maybe Kiya can tell you something. I guess thats where RM has the advantage, "lifetime guarantee".
