i've got an htc desire, running on froyo. this is amazing, made my life a lot easier.

the picture apps like fx camera are pretty awesome too, although the hipster feel is a little too much sometimes.

i guess so kiya. seems kinda strange to me too! the label inside even says 8130, the model number of the regular black boot. they didn't come in a different box, or even with an item from vintage55.

got a new pair of RW's yesterday. time to compare my 3,5 year old 8131's with the new black 8130. they are a collab with vintage55 btw, but the only differences i can find are the vintage55 logo embossed in the leather, and that they come with fat leather laces.

i wasn't very keen on the quality of the denim/jeans anyway (i got a pair of prescott dark tone 1,5 years ago, and managed to get a 15cm rip at the ass after wearing them for 6 hours. yaaay), but still, gerard made something different.

yeah, of course it's all about the costs. and i also believe the quality is pretty much up to par with the french stuff, but still... it doesn't do it for me also, after seeing the documentary 'china blue' i'm not very fond of chinese made jawnz ;p

kinda strange that gerard states prps is produced there too, i have 2 pair, and both are made in japan. is he referring to the cheaper wrkshop prps line?

gerard is a great guy, met him a couple of times, but i can't really forgive him for moving the production to china... the whole 'made in a small town in france' thing was pretty sweet imo.

the pbj's came as a one-wash version, i soaked them twice, gave them an ocean wash last summer and a handwash last week.

updates on my jeans... first up: skull 5109xx, 8 months of wear. lighting proved to be a biatch in my new app btw but they are pretty true to color.

next: pbj xx-007, 7 months.
