  1. Can anyone tell me what these are?

I was going through some old stuff and found them. I have no idea where I got them. Ive been into denim for about 10yrs, but im not as serious about it as some of the guys here...I keep 2 pairs in rotation and keep it moving.

They're big E's, but there arent any tags anywhere to be found in the pants...So I have no clue what they are.

    Thanks

  2. i dont know why you all are tripping on the waist.

If you dont want your jeans tight as fuck having some wiggle room in the waist isnt a big deal.

  3. first fit was good, i like the look a lot actually, but it all screams trying too hard. mainly what's going on with your general head area. hair, glasses, cigarette pose...

second is good from the waist down (minus the chain and keys, doesn't look grunge enough) waist up is bad. cardigan isn't a huge miss, but the t shirt is. not a good look, and the tuck doesn't help.

overall the fit has no synergy, cardigan and scoop neck T w/ ripped jeans, chain and boots is bi-polar.

now to contradict myself, if the proportions of the pieces were different (mainly, longer silhouette), and if you were a 100lb. ninja wearing undercover, rick owens, whatever other designers play that look off well it would look really, really good. its all about those proportions :/

...and I'm not trying to rip ya apart, just my humble thoughts on the matter...

    my god...perfect breakdown
  4. The work done at Deluxe is of the highest regard but IMO the finest traditional tattoo artist in the city of Chicago holding true to the roots of the art form yet adding his own touch would be Mario Desa. If I were looking for deluxe like tattoos I would hit up Guy Aitchison a few hours out of Chicago. I think most of Ben's work was done by Guy.

funny you said this name. I was looking at his site like a month ago.

A shame because I used to live right around the corner from the shop he works.

May get him to do some work this year.

  5. need my ih301s' crotch repaired... any recommendations on the best place to take them in chicago? or shall i ship them off somewhere? help!

Has this ever been answered? I would love to find a place in Chicago that can do this work.
  6. Usually no haggling - you're lucky if you happen to be there around CNY when they have sales.

VIP Membership last 1 year and gets extended automatically if you spend over a certain amount during the course of the year.

Prices with VIP discount should be best outside of Japan - considering transport and taxes that might be added in a lot of cases.

    Thanks for the info.

I brought up haggling because someone else in the thread did.

The guy I talked to at Take5 said I could be a member even with online orders, so I may do that.

  7. and fuck a herb expedition, the herb comes to you. those muslim-chinese dudes manning the charcoal bbq carts know what's up

Where are these fellows you speak of? I'm leaving shanghai in a few hours, but will be back in a few weeks.

Is it pretty easy to get away with smoking here?

  8. ^ in an apartment?

    you crazy man

I know...but ive lived in this place for about 4 yrs, and my landlord is kind of a deadbeat. Hates fixing shit, and doesnt come up here unless he has to.

I wouldnt advise other people do it though...there have been a few close calls when the cops showed up to my door for unrelated reasons, and an appraiser had to check the place out.

I learned a lot though...and love the smoke I have.

  9. ^^^^^^^^

that work is a little suspect

    example of good African work

and whoever said some fatties fuck up work with their look is correct. Put the damn pie down if you're going to rock tattoos on your body.

  10. my 500mL roor just came in this morning...overall i'm pretty pleased. this is my first time owning german glass. only complaint i have really is the absence of ice notches. craftsmanship-wise, it is blown to perfection.

and I thought my shit was dusty

  11. i can't wait until people stop posting names unless they come with parentage/ genetics/where you got it (within reason). Most of you guys are educated but it is a dream of mine. "

yes this is the pre 91 chemdog, clone from (insert grower or co-op). grown in coco with GH nutes. 73 Days under hps, with supplemental UV. Flushed for 3 weeks with water and blackstrap. cured for one month. etc etc.

so many people call pot stuff its not. i meet people all the time who's ideas of certain strains are waaay off. am i making sense? not attempting to call anyone out just saying it would be nice.

peaches looks real nice. def looks like indica bud structure.

    nahh man....you make perfect sense.

I hate when people come around me talking about what strain they have because its what their dealer told them.

Most cats sellin lie to make it sound better than what it is.

So unless I know the grower I dont worry about what the name is.
