I mean, superfuture doesn't have any double standards right?

Im surprise some of you justify those jeans even though it lacks some of the things that superfuture considers indicators of quality. selvage, slubbiness, type of indigo, etc. Specially since jeans that are bought exclusively for the fit (7's, joe's,etc) are looked down upon here.

actually, yeah, that's kinda close.
the 005 is slim, the 003 is fuller cut with a higher rise.
i've seen people who look good in the 003 but not in the 005 and vice versa. also depends on your individual style.
from what you've posted, i think you'd probably be more into the look of the XX-003.
Yea. My main problem with slim jeans is the leg opening. If i don't have a 9" inch leg opening (laid out flat), i can count on my shoes looking goofy (size 10.5-11). That's the reason im wearing rescues right now. Im a month deep into my rescues, but when that's done i'll problaby check out the xx-003 at BIG.

yea MIZ..
but what about the xx-003?
is the difference between the xx-005 and xx-003 of PBJ kinda like NS and rescues of APC?

Are there any wearing/washing restrictions?
ex. starching limit, etc.
I think all techniques should be allowed, with the intent of making the best jeans. That way it's easier to see what methods are better.
I wish Ryu was in the contest.

the XX-005 seem like they would look goofy with bigger type shoes (8" hem). What is the leg opening on the XX-003? That might seem like something i could buy.

Those are slubiest jeans i ever seen. I saw them at a local store and the denim is increadible. Are there any other brands that are slubbier?

by "premium" i mean top of the line jeans...not designer.
i thought that would be clear in this forum.

maybe wiggle it more in your seat, although you might get skid marks, I don't know.
How 'bout doing it doggystyle?
Is it just me, or will I remember the title of this thread for a long time?
doin it doggy style would only fade your butt if YOU were the one........too gay.

If there was a premium denim hiarchy. What do you think it would look like?

i bought my apcs last week and i couldn't stand the inseem. i hemmed them to 31 and now they are good. Even if they shrink they still have a couple inches to spare which is perfect. The people at the apc store even say they can hem it for you so it's not a serious problem.

he is right, if he has a question about denim then he should ask. If you don't like it then just ignore his post.

That half inch'll get you, man.
Im a "glass half-full" person so i guess im 5'11. That extra .5 inch is a killa though isn't it.

i have 3 concerns so i might as well address them in a single topic.
yesterday i bought my first pair of dry/raw jeans. APC rescues size 30. Im a size 32 in mainstream jeans and the 30 fits me just like a 32. I do not want the jeans to get bigger at all though. They are regular fit, which in my experience equals "superbaggy" compared to the way some of you guys wear them. How can i prevent stretch? i figured the tighter they are the more they stretch. SO since they are not too tight they will not stretch severly.
I went biking today for a couple hours and some patterns are already starting. Im loving that. the only thing is that the knee is starting to pop out. I hate that. Is there anyway to prevent that or do i have to live with it?
last thing. Im 5'10.5 and 155lbs. I like a 30 or a 32 inseem. The APC is 36. If i roll them they look ok but i don't think the whiskers and honey combs will come out right if they are constantly shifting. I want to hem them but i am aware they will shrink after the first wash. Should i hem or not? I was thinking about hemming them and leaving an extra inch to accomadate shricking. Can any local dry cleaner do a good job?
THANKS

the only reason "mainstream" jeans sell is because of the fit. They have fits that are meant to look good on a wide variety of people. Democratic, per se.
99.9 % of the board seem to agree that jap jeans are the best in the world. Since nudies started popping up in GQ they also lost the superfuture seal of approval with many of you. The only reason for this seems to be because your neighbor might have one in 2007/2008.
that's lame. Exclusivity is a marketing tool.
