  1. I've had a few repairs done at Kulhman. I've been pleased with the work, though I wouldn't call them a denim specialist or anything (no chainstitching, for example).

Also, for u-district eating, holy shit is Chili's Mart good south indian. It's the one of the only places in Seattle proper you can actually get Dosa, and all their stuff is incredibly good/cheap.

  2. Food; Favorite new (higher-end) restaurant is the book bindery, gorgeous interior and amazing food. new mid-end winner goes to the walrus and the carpenter (eat oysters every day), and low-end goes to where y'at matt, the cajun food truck.

    Bars:

-upstairs of tavern law (needle & thread) is tough to get in to, but drinks are great and ambiance is laid back but nice. Tavern law is good as well.

-if you are in capitol hill you should probably check out cha cha and/or unicorn at least once to get your theme dive on. linda's and redwood get similar crowds and are similarly busy. there are any number of other bars around the area as well.

-shorty's is a seattle staple, go play some pinball there and drink a margarita slurpy

-in pike place market go to zig zag for cocktails, white horse trading co for beer, both have a nice atmosphere and are pretty chill.

-the hideout on first hill is great as well, cool decor and stays pretty busy

  4. Hey person who's swapping for me: I'm out of town from 9/3 to 9/15, so don't send anything that requires signature confirmation or something.

Also, person who I'm swapping for, you're about to get some random ass stuff.
