Picked up this Canadian parka the other day for $30. Pretty good fit and supposedly its gore-tex.

Saw Jacques Greene, Lunice, ANGO and Prisongarde at a really nice intimate show last night. Probably made an idiot of myself drunk rambling to Jacques Greene about how awesome he is. They put on a really good live set though.

Afterlame has to be my favourite of all time. The Robot Food crew seemed to have such a good time making movies and it really came through when watching. Shame they arent around anymore.

Question: The 700J buckleback sits right at the belt line, not jsut below like some other denim I've seen. Does anyone else find this annoying when wearing a belt? Not wearing a belt with these just looks unfinished, but I sort of hate to cut it off...

I ended up cutting the buckleback of my 700's out of annoyance. I didnt feel too bad about it since from what I understand people used to do it back in the day too.

Grabbed some At the Front USMC Boondockers when they had a %15 off sale. Pretty satisfied for the price (about 90$) although I still wish the leather was a bit thicker . Im hoping they will do me well for a month long Japan adventure.

Yea the cobbler must have packed on a bunch of oil or polish when he was done with them, theyre really soft.

Original sole on these seemed too soft and wore out within a few months so I decided to get some christies for the winter deep freeze. Pretty pleased with the result.
