I can't really help you since I've never taken Japanese but on a side note, my friend who's taking Japanese in college supplements his lessons with those Pimsleur audio cds and he said they help (speaking/listening-wise at least).

I need some beaters for when I go out, without a seal so I can hear other shit. I think I might go with some V-modas earbuds. My other pair of headphones are some Audio-Technicas from Audiocubes, pretty nice but sometimes I don't feel like carrying them around haha. I have a pair of Grado SR60s too. But, they broke on me, I think they're sitting in my room somewhere - the wire needs to get replaced somehow because it only works if I move the cord in a certain direction.

I have a white G-Shock which I use most of the time and I wear it with all my casual attire. But, if I'm dressing more formal I'll opt for a different watch. Though I must say Kanye looked pretty fly at the emmys.

Take MMA because it's more practical. JKD is cool but its pretty much MMA anyway, I guess I'd take JKD for the concepts though. Bruce Lee was so deep. Anyways, like you I grew up on martial arts movies so when I was younger I used to take kung fu but looking at it now all the stuff I learned would be ineffective in a fight. But, I did get really strong, flexible, and disciplined. I guess if you were fighting wannabe gangstas like in that youtube video where that guy gets knocked out by some crazy kung fu-using white kid its worth it but otherwise I'd take MMA or any of its sub-styles like muay thai, jiujitsu, wrestling, etc. But if you want to take "martial arts" I'd probably go with Kyokushin karate. Sambo would be cool too plus Fedor uses it . Also as JoOner said you should really check out the schools in your area, its not worth going if they can't teach well or aren't strict enough. Find out what you have in your area first and then choose from there. Picking a style is useless if you don't even have it in your area.

It's not difficult at all. First download the lastest software for the r4 from the r4 webpage and then drag/drop all the files onto the microsd card (usually comes in a bundle with the R4 with a microsd usb reader). Just download the games from rom sites like nds-roms.com then unzip them to your microsd card. Then put the microsd card into the cartridge, put it into your ds, and play. Simple as that. I purchased the R4 and a 1GB Kingston MicroSD card from RealHotStuff twice because my brother wanted one also. Both shipments came 3 business days after I ordered it.

If you're looking for computer speakers with emphasis on value I'd recommend the logitech z-2300s because you can get a pair for $90 on this site. I remember they used to be $70 on this site before but they still have the lowest price for these speakers even though the price went up.
