  1. Oh yeah don't get me wrong, AA stuff is average, and I would take the visvim shit anyday, quality looks awesome, but the effort of getting the stuff I want, to Australia... and the price... don't know if I can splash that much cash. One day...

  2. Yeah, I see what you mean, i really like their style, but I doubt I personally would appreciate it that much more than American Apparel, for the price. Shoes are dope, just have to wait until they make a size US13... prepared to be waiting a while...

  3. 1) I meant, how limited are the runs of clothing, such as does shit sell out a day/week after it is released in Japan (FIL), or is it readily available throughout the season.

    2)

really like some of the simple striped pieces recenlty.

I'll be a little more specific for you, How much do the henley, long sleeved tops, crews and hoodies retail for?

    3) Not slim yeah that helps a little, but I meant, does a Large fit like a american large, european large, do they run small, are the arms long / short, is the body cut long / short.

I apologise for not being such an expert on this and posing questions in a way that a simple person like you can understand :D .

  4. Wouldn't you want to make more money?

Yeah definatley, as I said I'm not judging them, it sort of suprises me that they didn't expand earlier. I guess i shows how much they probably care about what they do, and what they stand for.

  5. I am suprised this thread is now 6 pages long, when a simple "yes John Mayer is a fucktard" would have sufficed.

At the end of the day, I don't care about what clothes he wears, or even if his music is good or shit or whatever. I just know I don't like him.

(however, if someone came up to you one day and said, hey do you want to travel the world, have heaps of cash to buy cool shit, and get copius amounts of snatch... all you have to do is play some poxy pop music once in a while... what would your answer be?)

  6. Does anyone else get the feeling that after 13 years or so of slow building, Supreme have decided to accelerate the growth of the brand lately. I havent followed the brand since the very begining, and I'm not judging either, it's their business to run how they want, but it seems that opening new stores in Japan, the website, claimed decreases in quality, for instance the jackets and t-shirt printing, all point to increased production and exposure.

What do you guys think? And if you agree do you reckon this will lead to the end, or just a new direction for supreme?

  7. Sunglass Hut/Rayban are promoting them a heap, they made postcards saying, "Girlfriends come, and girlfriends go, Wayfarers are forever" which were 10% off as well (in AUS)

I really hope they don't turn into the new aviators.

If you want a similar style, but something different, Oakley made some called FROG SKINS, colorful arms and lenses. Could be got second hand cheap also.

  8. I have two pairs of wayfarers, a newer pair of (54mm) tortoise shells, purchased from sunglass hut about 4 years ago, and an original pair of white ones (50mm).

The newer revised ones have spring loaded arms, (which have broken once, but I replace the arms for about AU$20) sit flatter to the face, and are over all more comfortable, and better at keeping the sun out.

The older 70s ones have the barrel hinges, and sit angled forward of the face. They actually take a bit of getting used to wearing.

When I bought the newer ones, I was told ray ban were ending production of that style, in favor of the shocking "new wayfarers". I'm glad they are re-releasing the original style, as well as the updated frame.

They are an absolute classic, but I'm a little annoyed that they will become too cool, sort of like aviators did...

Here's a link to an old thread that you might like too:

  9. Would any body in NY or LA be willing to grab me a duffle coat, when they are released, as these aren't coming to the Australian supreme stockists? I would make it worth your while, or return the favour for any Australian based stuff, such as PAM or IMPERIAL, etc.

    PM if you're interested.

(NY member service similar to Japan member services, like xcoldricex and 2000db would be awesome)

  10. ...plus I own this season's and previous season's supreme tees, and also Hanes beefy tees and they are so different it's not even worth thinking about, I would have thought, if anything supreme tees are closest to a AAA tee, or maybe the AAA long tees, however that's a guess...

  11. Any news yet on wool duffle coats. Have these been seen in supreme stores yet?

Supreme told me they would not be stocking these at Someday or Supply in Australia, so anyone know of price, sizing, availabilty yet?

Really keen to get one of these.
