do you know where i could find the hem and haw shirt the model is wearing? (im in the us)
Sorry, you'd be hard-pressed to find this outside of Melbourne, let alone in the States.
Plus, I'm quite sure all of these style shirts are sold out (I got the last one). At least at their flagship store.

Is there a long john dry black coated? Where to cop?
Anywhere in Australia.
Think the northern hemisphere will cop in Summer '08.
I would get the coated Long Johns (sweet fit down the leg), but I'm not feeling the low rise, feels/looks too femme in my eyes.

Thanks for the responses, guys.
Yeah, I have tried them on - I did so yesterday. Sized down to 28 and I still wasnt getting the desired look through the leg (well, below the knee). I guess this may seem a little extreme, but I'm used to wearing April 77.
I want the Nudie this time because I'm really digging their coated effect. I'm actually beginning to think I'll pick up some coated Slim Jims (not as baggy in the yoke?) and taper them to about 6" at the hem. Perhaps this will work better?

I'm really interested in buying some Thin Finn's in Black Dry Coated, however I'm not sold on the fit - particularly down the leg.
Has anybody decreased the hem width by tapering the leg of their Thin Finns? I'm interested in hearing any experiences in doing this. I will probably end up tapering the leg hem to about 6" if I go ahead with this, but I'm just worried that this may look a little odd due to the baggier 'yoke' on the Thin Finn. Will the contrast between baggy top and near-skin-tight bottom be overbearing?
Thanks for any feedback.

what are you looking for?
a jean that causes everything it touches to become oily?
Ha, not really. Guess I was just expecting the jeans to look a little more waxy / shiny. I have heard the waxy appearance does increase with wear, in the case of Nudie coated at least..

Hem & Haw Shirt, Size Small

Cheap Monday Tight Grey w/ Oil Stains, 28X34
Brand new cheap Mondays. Grey with intentional creasing down legs and subtle oil-like staining along creases. Plenty of stretch. I’m a standard 29 waist and can fit into these, but they’re a little too tight down the leg. Would better suit a 27/28 waist with thin legs.
waist: 14.5"
length: 32"
hem: 6"
*** plenty of stretch ***
$45 AUD

Alright, so I went down to GPC and tried on the coated Thin Finns, but wasn't satisfied with the fit. Even after I sized down to 28, I felt the cut of the leg wasn't flattering. Could have done with a little more tapering.
SA suggested I try on the coated Long Johns. Sweet fit down the leg, but gay low-low-rise. Not feeling it..
If I wasn't so hell-bent on getting a pair of decent coated jeans, I probably wouldn't bother from here. However, I'm considering getting the coated Thin Finns in either 28 or 29 (probably 29 - comfortable around the waist) and having the hem tapered to 6/6.5" by a tailor. I don't think this will pose too much of a problem.. Or will the tapering from the baggy yoke to near-skin-tight hem be too much?
On another note, the jeans themselves didn't feel/look that waxy, but this significantly increases with wear, no?
Cheers.

Nevermind, found it .. but it doesn't work on CP products anyway.
How laaaame.
I'm still trying to figure out how to cop some discount on the $310 CPs. Let me know if you come up with somethingz..

any experience with suits on those aforementioned labels?
was about to try on hem & haw suits, but didnt end up doing it
are they relatively slim?? what about mjolk suits??
haven't tried on hem & haws suits from this season, but they did look relatively nice on the hanger. i assume they fit on the slimmer side. the design wasn't too radical (which I think is a good thing for suits). made in new zealand and from 100% wool (from memory) - so there are two attributes that put it above and beyond many other suits in the price-bracket.
mjolk suits. nice cuts, nice materials, quality of construction is sub-par and the price is accordingly over the top (think $1000+).

home, if you're still looking for skinny coated jeans (in particular thin finn overdye black coated), then go to the general pants co. online site, sign up for their 20% offer thingo... head down to GPC (usually overpriced yeah i know), find something.
thin finn coateds are 210 AUD, with the discount it goes down to 170 AUD.
a little cheaper than cultizm with shipping i think.
+rape.
does anyone in aus. know if GPC still stock TFBDC? will hopefully check it out in the next few days
fuck i hate that place.

lol @ some of the aforementioned labels
my votes go to claude maus & beat poet
nothing revolutionary, but nice clean cuts with interesting details
honourable mentions to mjolk (preppy look) and material boy (always interesting, if nothing else).. oh and some of the chronicles of never stuff is decent too.
props to hem & haw for putting out some very wearable and stylish pieces at an affordable pricepoint, even if the quality/finish leaves a little to be desired.
lets keep another boy, thousand reasons, pam and schwipe well away from this thread.
