Looking to maybe order some capital e matchstick in black. I own a pair of both the apc petit standard (size 28) and acne max (size 30). Are the levis in the same league as those in terms of cut and quality? How's the sizing?

yeah, I bought a shirt and some pants (about $260US) and had to pay $109cdn. Pretty harsh.

I recently ordered from apc to canada and got hammered with custom fees. I thought it would be less since they went from ups to usps but it sure isn't the case. Anyone know if there's less chance of paying crazy fees by choosing the faster more expensive shipping option?

do the raw black ns stretch at all? I'm planning on getting a pair, I'm a size 28 in the indigo raw ns, should I get 28's in raw black or size up?

Also for the corduroy narrow jeans, anyone know how these are sized?

I was wondering if anyone has tried the apc stretch jeans as available on the website in black. How tight are they? Also about the sizing, is it similar to the unwashed indigo or is it closer to regular size?

yeah, the slogans are pretty ridiculous. Let's not forget Kick out the Jams and the Ramones t-shirt, rather dubious. As for the black new standards, they were on the site for the f/w collection, they've just been sold out since last year's s/s. Maybe, they'll get more if they keep 'em on there even though they're all sold out.

do the jeans made in sand and navy fit true to size or are they like the regular jeans? I'm usually a size 30 and a 27-28 in new standards, what size should I get?

If I'm a size 28 in unwashed indigo, should I get a 28 in vintage indigo, do they stretch as much?

I just can't find the name of this clothing label, I know it`s from London and that the name is 2 or 3 letters including Y and M I`m pretty sure.

you should be able to order anything they have in the store by phone.

I tend to agree with deathmullet, I've ordered many times from APC and the custom fees are really all over the map and are really not proportionate to the amount of the order. The UPS guy once told me that I was gonna pay a lot less if I got it shipped the faster way (the 30$ option instead of the 5$). Anyways, I hope USPS is more reasonable and if anyone has ordered from APC to Canada in the last little while, I'd be very interested in knowing about the custom fees.

APC is now apparently shipping to Canada through USPS instead of UPS. I was wondering if anyone has ordered from them in Canada recently and if the custom fees are still as hefty as they were when they shipped with ups.

new standards don't fit like 517's at all, if anything, it's closer to a 501. There's no flare at all on NS. They do run quite long though, 36 maybe and I would get size 27.

yeah, that's a good idea. How does dry cleaning affect fading though?

yeah I'm mostly worried about the length, will it shrink only in the first wash though?

I've read all the threads concerning washing and haven't found a satisfactory answer to this: does the duration of the soak affect shrinkage or once the jeans are soaked, it makes no difference how long they stay in the water? I plan on using cold water btw.
