  1. i bought these from tm. wore them once, liked them a lot but havent worn them since...decided that i wanted to get the 19cm.

    anyway you know the deal.

    raw, unwashed, italian i believe.

    waist 16.5" across

    rise 10"

    inseam 36"

    leg opening 8.5"

as i said i wore them once. no whiskers or honeycombs or whatever.

***SOLD. thanks for the interest everybody***

    paypal only.

if you need pictures i will take some later, but seriously these jeans are all over this board. theyre fresh. i just dont want these to sit in my closet when someone else could be enjoying them.

  2. Hmm, I see. I thought Osaka was beautiful myself.....Did you get to explore all of it?

sadly i was only there for a day...certainly cant say i explored all of osaka or even most of it. i will def be back there for a more extended stay at some point bc the food and nightlife is fun, but honestly from what i saw of it i wouldnt really call it a beautiful city. just my limited and underexposed opinion though.

  3. it reminded me of baltimore because walking around in both cities feels like youre in a depressing concrete wasteland. of course every sizable city in japan is like that more or less, but for whatever reason it was more striking in osaka for me.

  4. osaka seemed more like the baltimore of japan to me. then again i was only there for 1 day/night. however unlike baltimore, osaka totally has a fun nightlife and excellent food.

all i know is that fukuoka is the ramen capital of the world.

you should consider hiroshima too - ive heard only good things about the town.

  5. talkin smack isdenn? haha.

rajio answer my email when you got a minute ;)

haha nah i thought it was in this thread and when i didnt see it i was merely expressing amazement that someone had bought it...$800 linen shirt is truly baller status...at that point one may as well buy that mink coat some other dude was selling and rock that.

  6. i have a very similar bodytype to you (thick thighs) so let me tell you how i expect the stretching will go...they dont look unacceptable now, but they will stretch, and then you will look like you have birthing hips. not fresh. i say go for a different cut altogether, something not tapered.

but the most important thing, as someone else said, is that you are having doubts. in my opinion your gut is the best judge of how clothes look. if you dont look at yourself and think 'this is exactly what i wanted', ditch the shit and keep searching.

  7. yeah grados are gorgeous but, being open-air, are no good for being in public...they only sound their best in appropriately quiet surroundings, and in those cases i'd rather just go with real speakers when possible (paradigm = win)

hit up some etymotics or something for travel buds.

personally i just rock sony v6 headphones when on the go bc theyre indestructible and sound good (bass is a little hyped but not to the extreme of the sony dj headphones...besides im no audiophile)

  8. here, i'll save you the time of looking it up...gold-collar refers to working-class people who spend a disproportionate amount of their income on high-end designer goods and as a result dont have enough money to do things like afford their own place to live, etc...

as for what youve got going here, i will echo what everyone else has said and suggest that you not try to start a t-shirt company. not trying to hate... the market is absurdly saturated and you dont seem to be offering anything that isnt already done better by plenty of other companies.

if you seriously want to get into clothing/apparel, heres some free business advice...if everyone else is stampeding in a certain direction (for example, t-shirts), look elsewhere. my suggestion is that you focus on making accessories (gloves, scarves, jewelry etc). the nature of streetwear today is individualization and accessories have always been the easiest way to make oneself stand out. also they tend to be more affordable than the larger items, and people are willing to own more of them. america (including canada, i didnt notice the ottawa part in your posts) sucks when it comes to accessories, every company offers shit that all looks the same.

  9. i think it's too short to be practical...but do you plan on using it for any bad weather-type activities? if you were snowboarding for example i think you'd regret not having those few inches covering your lower back. if you are only using it as streetwear it's probably fine.

  10. my personal experience was that even locals will not be able to tell you where a building is just based on its street address. for example i was looking for a store in harajuku (whoop-de-doo) and i had its address, and i had different people telling me to go all over the place...one dude in hare actually thought it might be in or on the way to shibuya which was definitely not the case. it's far better if you can find someone who actually knows the building youre looking for and can give you landmarks or cross streets or draw a map or something.
