  1. I've been experimenting with Jazz lately. Started out with the obvious, Miles Davis (Bitches Brew) and Coltrane (The Classic Quartet). My question is that where do I go from here? Suggestions? I was thinking about checking out some Keith Jarrett and some of Davis' earlier stuff, like Blue in Green. Is this a smart move or should I go else where?

  2. Anyone read Paradise Lost??? dang, i dont think that sort of poetic writing is good for me...

I have to read it later this semester for my Brit Lit class. I'm really looking forward to it, for once.

I just finished The Fall of the House of my American Lit Class this week and can say that out of the all the stuff that I have read this semester, it is my favorite so far. I liked the fact that Poe is super detailed in every little thing he does.

  3. Bigger stronger faster: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1151309/

    About steroid use

    Planet bboy:http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0770796/

About the battle of the year competition 2005 and breakdancing in general

    Man on Wire:http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1155592/

    Pretty well known

    Religulous:http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0815241/

Bill Maher goes around debunking religion. There are some really funny bits in here.

I thought zeitgeist was pretty interesting if you watch it with a pinch of salt, The second zeitgeist movie, Zeitgeist addendum, was easily one of the worst films I've ever watch in my life.

I just saw Man on A Wire about a week ago and saw Bigger, Faster, Stronger* about a month ago.

Man on a wire was just dope, because the people who were involved weren't afraid to tell what they did and also weren't afraid to talk about what was going on in their minds while they were planing this.

Bigger, Faster, Stronger* was just a dope look on how steroids have changed our perspective on what is right and wrong and I will say that it is scary.

  4. Living on the east coast really does suck. I was just putting some shoes back in their boxes and notices that my Beeswax wallabees are covered in road salt from walking around campus and through parking lots at work and school. I don't want to take a wipe them down with just water, because that will ruin them. Is there a better way of cleaning them, like some kind of under the counter cleaner that will do the trick. I know that the food store that I work in carries a limited amount of Kiwi products. Please help.

  5. It might be kinda weak to ask this question here, but has anyone else heard the new mixtape from Drake yet or any of the other two that he released of the past two years?

I've been listening to him for the past couple of days and can honestly say that he has decent flow and lyrical skills. In an interview it stated that he was once rumored to be a ghostwriter for Lil' Wayne.

Man of the Year off his mixtape The Comeback is defiantly his strongest track so far.

^ Get POS's new album; has been getting really positive reviews.

    I'd also add:

    - Drake's new mixtape

I also wanted to mention too, that yes this is the kid in the wheelchair for Degrassi.

  6. Besides studying, homework, eating, and sleeping in my apartment. I don't really do much. My social life is whack, my extra curricular activities consist of the gym and a shitload of basketball...

This is pretty much how it is at every college. I've noticed at Monmouth, that if you don't live there, you're pretty much gonna have a hard time talking to people. It's a totally different kind of world when your a don't live on campus.

The few times that I've told people that I don't live on campus, I felt like they treated me totally different that someone who live near the campus or on it.

I also felt that some people don't want to let you into their inner circles, even if you find people who you can hang out with. I've noticed that it's mainly the greeks or people who still think that they are in high school.

  7. Also, I have found that walking up to a girl and discreetly humping her from behind or the side usually works pretty well.

I've thought about this with other girls, but there is some kind of just friends now and possibly something later kind of thing there. But if it doesn't work out I could try that on someone else.

  8. naw dude thats fine, but like asking her to dinner would be a little strong. at coffee its not really a date, its just hanging out and talking. so that would be fine IMO
I prefer asking if for drinks instead of coffee... drinks/bar = date... coffee= friendzoning yourself.

    Thorns:

She's not 21 yet, so it's a little weird. Also most of the place around school are 18 enter/21 drink, so if worse comes to worse, I could always suggest that.

    HAPPYASALAMB:

Thanks loads man, I just wanted to check to make sure that it wasn't going to be awkward or if it was the proper thing to do.

  9. I know that if I post this here, I'm gonna get a lot of smart ass remarks and comments, but I really don't care at this point.

I'm playing with the idea of asking a girl to hang out just as friends, maybe possibly more down the line. However, I don't want to feel like I'm coming on a little too strong.

This is mainly the idea basically what I'm gonna ask her the next time I see her.

"You want to hang out sometime and maybe get a cup of coffee or something?"

Is this alright or am I coming on a little strong?

Again, I know that there's gonna be a lot of smart ass comments and other trash like stuff coming, but at this point, I really don't give a damn.
