if you normally wear a size 9 in shoes, size 8 sabakus should be fine for you. I have a pair in size 9 and if I lace it up, it is perfectly fine and fit for me, but the toebox is so huge I could probably afford to size down an 8 and it would probably fit a lot tighter, but imo the toebox makes the sabakus so god damn comfortable. i also put in one of those insole orthotics or something. that makes it even better.

If I put on a pair of vans slip ons, a size 8 would fit my foot like a sock; almost a perfect fit. The sabaku slip ons in size 8 are almost like that, except a bit more forgiving. god i love the sabaku slip ons. i wear em every day

i would think the ripples happen because of heat warping the fabric. since zippers cant shrink like the fabric can, they just ripple out instead.

I delicately wash and use almost no heat when I dry my hoodies. Ive never had that problem.
