Hi,
I found a place that has a few pairs of Earnest Sewn Fulton "Rigid" No. XX, but I'm not sure about the sizing.
The 29's fit me like a glove in waist and length, the 30's are a tad roomy in the waist, and too wide/long in the length.
Will they shrink permanently in the wash much (i.e. will not stretch back out to size), or will they stretch out much (i.e. to APC proportions; 3 sizes bigger)?
And to make sure I don't get ripped off, how much do you guys reckon they would go for nowadays?
Thanks

I'm lookin for either or of the Gap Gough's, the Selvedge Morrison's (not the overdye, but liek the ones here http://www.styleforum.net/showthread.php?t=28532), or the Levi's RED Slim Fit Rigid Scraped jean.
Can anybody hook me up? Looking at around $30-$50USD shipped to Canada if possible.
Thanks in advance

I have a pair of those... in my experience they barely stretch in the waist (about half an inch for me. If you have a bigger waist perhaps it will stretch more). Even after 5 months (3.5 months of hard consecutive daily wear) it has a tendency to 'pinch' me in places that were never meant to be pinched.

Selvage /= Raw /= UnsanforizedQuote: Ok that's what I figured, but won't they shrink a couple of inches then? Seems wired they don't make them a bit longer than they do...0 -
text on graphic tees = no.

Better than 80% of ALL 'distressed' jeans out there. Good stuff.

The flare on the premium skinners DO indeed shrink. When i first got them the flare was quite big for my liking, but after a lukewarm soak and hangdry, its perfect.

wow, those look like my Levis Skinner Rigids after 3.5 months and one soak.
maybe try soaking in water with some liquid starch? or rubbing in some liquid starch only on the creases

Only one side of the seam is selvedge, not both sides

and if they indeed have been pre-shrunk using the methods minya stated, the jeans will likely stretch to (and perhaps beyond) their original size when you wear them again.

I found a pair of Diesel jeans at Winners today. Its a plain One-Wash, the "KEETAR" fit, tapered leg opening. The denim quality looks quite good, fairly slubby and a good weight to it. I'm not sure if its an older model, but it definitely does not look like the new designs. Just some comments, general info, would be good.
They are a TAD wide in the waist, and much longer than I usually wear, but I am planning to have them just bunch up at the top of my shoe. How do you guys recommend I wash them before I wear them? Hot/Warm/Cold? Machine/Soak? The indigo bleeds quite a bit, even from the 15 mins or so I tried them on, there was indigo transfer to my shoes.
They kinda look like they are styled after the 501's, but then again I am no Levis expert:

And what do you guys think of the fit? Coming from a pair of Skinners, this pair is like the exact opposite, so I am not very used to this fit. They don't look too 'Hip-hop' baggy do they?

What do you think, worth keeping or return?
Thanks,

LFO - Summer Girls
I especially like the part about girls who wear Abercrombie and Fitch.
Just joking.

I'd think most guys would have a grinder and sandpaper on hand at home... Unless they're the kind who never do anything with their hands...Quote: you have a grinder, a seam ripper, and sandpaper at the same time lying around in your house? This is a stupid product. A niche product for a niche. The kit is most likely to be used on raw, or one-rinse jeans, which is a niche in itself. But the product is catered to those people who buy raw denim but are too impatient to wear it in themselves, but ARE patient enough to spend hours manually doing it by hand. And THOSE people, are very few in the people who buy raw.

Additionally, capitalization should be used at the beginning of sentences.

Earnest Sewn Fulton Rigid No.XX: Stretching/Shrinking Tendencies, ricing?

I'm not sure if they're the same as the No. 50's you're talking about. I think this is from the past seasons, and not a part of their current line
Here's a pic of the inside pocket:

It says Rigid Fulton XX; No.XX.
