shoreman, those look a lot like the kelty x j crew that are coming out this fal that you posted a while back no? l....
Which makes me wonder if they're really kelty x jcrew, or if they were just props used in that j crew show...

Coupla items for (hopeful) quick sale. Can post measurements and better pics later.
NWT Woolrich Woolen Mills s/s 60/40 bomber, size L
Actually 65/35, like many cotton/poly blends from the 70s. Features shoulder reinforcement, ribbed hem, half-ribbed cuffs (very comfortable), double zip, and fold down collar. Water resisitant, I'd say showerproof. Made in USA.
Pit to pit--22.5 inches
shoulder to shoulder--19 inches
First pic is from yoox, where it's currently selling for $325. Others are mine. $150 - > $140 - > $125 shipped CONUS.
NWOT Great River Canoe Pack 1950s backpack
This bag is heavily awesome, but I just bought like three packs and this one has to go. It's wool (I believe Pendleton), lined in cotton, with two zipper compartments and a button flap. Leather straps are raw, thick leather and the hardware is SOLID. Made in USA. The co. has something to do with Yuki Matsuda's Meg Company, although I'm not sure what. I've only seen these retailing at Garbstore, although some blogs covered them last fall. Yes, it says New England in big letters. No, you can't remove them
I don't have measurements right now but it's a functional although not large bag--can fit your laptop and a couple books but not your gym stuff too.
Another SFer turned me onto this deal, so I'm passing the savings onto whoever wants it. Karma! Retailed for over $300. Get it for $60 shipped CONUS.
I can ship international but I'll have to charge a little for shipping.

Most hikers will recommend legitimate tech gear for srs outdoor activity, but for similar styling to the WM shorts above, Mark McNairy and DQM did a pair of climbing style shorts. Slightly elastic waist, nylon clip belt, cargo pocket and crotch panel for scrambling across rocks. They gots khaki too.
Seen a few pairs of climbing-style pants like this from assorted JP brands in recent Free & Easys.

Tempting. What are others' experiences ordering from Rivendell?
Might need extra rugged shoulder straps for my Metro commute. (8)

Picked up this Hope jacket from the Tres Bien Shop sale. 77% cotton 23% polyurethane should be waterproof-ish, right?
