i love white girls. too bad white girls aren't as into asian guys as asian girls are into white guys (or even white girls into black guys! ooooooooh). T:

you guys shouldn't take things so seriously.

ddml, what kind of beanie is that?

as far as i know the 6 are demeuelemeester, dries van noten, dirk bikkemberg, walter van something, dirk van something, and marina yee.
anyways i like the collection, even though i would never wear any of the leather pieces.

Ya the first thing I thought was "does your tailor wear gloves when she works on those?"
she'd need a hazmat suit, most likely.

how much were they?

what colour socks would you wear with charcoal 'trousers' and white shoes that aren't 'trainers'/'runners'? greyscale argyle? heather? white? black? would maroon work?

i don't know how you've lived in montreal all this time without a beanie. granted i don't have one either and i only have 3 sweaters (light ones, no less) in my entire wardrobe, but still. i feel like i'm going to die everytime i step outside. that is if i have any feeling left.

i'd put on some crocs if i were on vacation.

that's right, fuckin' chancletas!!!!!
basically, and i would suppose this is an east coast city thing, but
we hate sandals. except on hot girls with nice feet.
and we hate shorts. except on hot girls with nice legs.
the nakedest a man should ever be in the city is in a wife beater,
and his upper body better be well-developed enough to be showing it
off. otherwise, put on a proper-sized t-shirt, thanks.
i don't know what it is about my environment that has caused this hate
of what is considered staple spring/summer-wear in other places of the
world, besides the fact that it is not at all commonplace to wear those
sorts of things up here. not only is it not commonplace, but somewhere
in our subconscious, we see it as being totally representative of NOT being
from here, which, of course, in a city obsessed with authenticity and street
cred, is not a good thing.
guys in shorts and sandals in NYC reek of tourist or of silly west coast college kid or of immigrant.
not that we don't embrace those things on a certain level... we just don't want to be
those things, or be seen as those things.
i mean, i have other weird fashion rules that have arisen because of weird things
in my childhood..
for instance, when i was very young, i saw an interview with Ice-T on television where
he said, "the only brown a man should ever wear is the dirt in his grave". that sentence has stuck with me through all my life, i can't explain why. the hold it has on me is supremely powerful... ever since then, when i was about 8, i've never worn anything brown in my life.
onemancult is wise, basically. qft.

well on something like dvdtalk.com they have a thread where in the first post it lists everyone's names & forum names, their +/- rating, who to watch out for etc. i think it takes too much time to maintain though. people basically bump the thread with a + for each member and a mod just adds it to the first post.

APC jacket is tagged XS. I'm 5'7, ~135-140. Kind of really pissed i can't fit it, I HAD TO GET IT OFF YAHOO FUCKING JAPAN IN MY SIZE. Lining is cotton polyester i think, will check in a bit
dude tell me about it. i actually bought one in a medium for way too fucking much since i've read it fits slim and it was way too big and ended up giving it to my brother. you wouldn't happen to be in canada would you x:

sorry if you've already posted in this thread, but... how tall/heavy are you? that apc jacket looks huge on you. what's the lining made out of? thanks...

i've seen a picture of someone wearing that jacket/tunic looking thing from the campaign. not the napoleon jacket (although i actually saw somebody wearing that in person at the supermarket, complete with leather pants!), but the other one... i think it was the first look in the show. it was interesting.

come on dude... look how great jack brennan looks here
and i love this look also.
well actually i just looked through the whole collection and there are a lot of terrible things in it (i must have blocked the ski jackets out of my memory) but i love the styling.
^ it also has the only dior homme t-shirt i would ever wear (i mean the end tshirt, not the sheer one, despite that being a tank)! but yeah quality did start going downhill starting with s/s 05... f/w 05 isn't that bad though.

votc & also s/s 05 both seemed fairly generic to me... what sets those apart from f/w 05? all 3 are 'wearable' collections and lacked a lot of the details of ie. luster. imo hedi's best work were his ysl collections.

out of all the old collections reflection is probably my favorite. votc has the best campaign ads. i don't know if i liked red at all. i hated the blood wound shirts. i really really loved fw 05 though... not many people will agree with me. luster was my favorite collection i would never wear.

good looking out... and congrats!

darkanimal except when he wears shorts.
that dude who wears nudies with the vintage glasses and beard(?) even though he's not really my style.
also the guy who looks puerto rican with an above average sized afro and hot girlfriend. i think?
