Some pics of my custom OG Mistinguett Black/Crystal I got last Nov.

I HIGHLY recommend OG in every way shape and form. I was nervous about this purchase since I did not have the opportunity to try them on and it was a gamble on whether they would suit my face. I was emailing Claire Goldsmith back and forth regaring these frames. I even went as far as sending her a picture of my face to see if she thought they would work with my face. She was a huge help and I could tell she stands by her product as being the best on the market. I took the chance and was blown away by the quality. Other designer frames feel like absolute crap after holding and feeling OG frames, especially the custom ones which are still handmade by 60+ year old craftsman. I would be seriously depressed for weeks if I ever lost or broke these.

Tarmac - Those look real nice. I just picked up a new pair of APC as my old pair of English were just too damn big. So I am hoping to have similar results as you. Mind describing how you washed them?

those Hawaii's don't have much contrast but I really like them. nice work. how did you washt them over the 1.5 years?

Yeah, I am happy with them. They didn't see serious wear until about 8-9 months ago, that's when I started wearing them everyday. As for washing, I have washed them once last Feb. which would make it a little more than a year in. I washed them inside out on cold with whatever detergent we had at the time. Then I took them out pre-spin cycle and hung them outside. So I guess you could say I washed them pretty regular. These are easily my favorite that I own. They are sooooo well made it's crazy.

So I am still kind of confused about Porter/HeadPorter. I understand the relationship and all with Porter being the parent company but which one has better quality products? Are they both relatively the same and they just market to different clientele?

Not really, they hang just low enough where they don't hit the ground. So no problems yet.

I guess maybe they just took the concept of the song and just applied it to the military? At first I thought the picture was the Sgt. from Full Metal Jacket but looking close I don't think so anymore. Or you could say the flip side and picture the Sgt. telling the Pvt. the reason why he is going to go into war. Kind of like they hate you and will kill you so you might as well hate them back. I took it as a whole "fuck authority" type thing. Of course I might be totally off also.

I have been looking for this tee for awhile now and I can't find it anywhere. Anybody have one they would be willing to sell? I would need a L or XL, any color.

I know they are out of the UK, I love Maharishi gear. I just thought that price was a little steep since the hoodies I have had experience with from them were always a little more than $200 shipped to US.

Hey does anyone know if the prices on the MHI site are pounds or dollars? I am guessing $ because Maharishi stuff is expensive but I can't believe it would THAT much for a hoodie.
