  1. crisis, i feel a very special kinship with you and john b/c we were the only ones that pulled the trigger on oni's when they were first brought about. I unfortunately had to sell mine b/c they were too big, but I anxiously awaited your oni blue pic like xmas morning. when everyone was hyping PBJ you held true to Oni. I had both, and I knew that I'd go back to oni, PBJ weren't my thing. I dedicate my purchase to you crisis, as john has bought a pair as well....

    ps, those look fucking amazing

You know what, haha, i feel the same way too. My girlfriend knows who you and john11f are, and she thinks it's crazy i talk about your jeans. Thanks for the dedication, that's probably one of the e-nicest things someone has done haha. i hope you enjoy the pair. They look great. I'm waiting to see how they fade, the indigo looks a little darker than most natural indigo jeans. I hope they fade really nice, i haven't seen a really great looking pair of faded natural jeans yet, let's hope these'll be them. Oh yeah, so what's going to happy to your contest jeans (looking great btw)?

thanks for the comments ayn, john11f, and TiP. I'm gonna keep wearing them, so hopefully they keep getting nicer. I've had the jeans since march last year, wore them for a month, stopped. Then started wearing them again around September i think. I really forget the exact dates, or even months haha.

John11f, are you going to switch your main pair to the ONI 19oz you just got? or keep on with the edo ai's?

  2. I'm waiting on those post-soak pics too poly haha. I can see the difference between the 19oz and the regular onis already. They look a little thicker, kind of like the SD-1177's. They look great though, i really wish i had some cash to burn. Congrats to all who got them. Maybe they'll have another run in a year or two.

Anyway, i ran my pair through the wash a 2nd time, and the contrast is starting to peak through.

  3. it does not rely on exploitive corporations like Monsanto

I understand several of your points about buying organic, but please don't try to disregard the whole biotechnology field and GMO's with your one example.

There are too many ill informed consumers AND activists running around making false claims about many potentially helpful GMO's. No, you're not getting cancer from eating a genetically modified tomato. No your DNA isn't going to mutate because your food's DNA was altered. People blindly protest some things they don't understand, and it's seriously hampering scientific progress. I'm not referring to you Circa in reference to ignorance about GMO's, you seem informed. I'm referring to PETA zealots, Hippy Nazi's, and any other extremist group blinded by its agenda. Make information based choices, do the research.

Anyway, thanks for the insight into the whole Zimbabwe cotton issue. I've been wondering about the whole situation for a while

(eh just saw i was replying to an old old post)

compilation of Choi Hong Man's K-1 fights.

Choi Hong Man, if you guys dont know is a 7'2" 400 lb korean guy who clobbers through everything. the mans a fuckin freak. at the end of the video, it looks like hes starting shit with Mike Tysen but Tysen just kinda laughs it off like a bitch.

Thanks for posting this up. He's really athletic for a huge guy, but has no handpseed and sloppy. He still has time to develop, if he develops in the right places he'll be a beast. I watched a few more fights, freakishly huge and strong. Tyson is no bitch though, in his prime he would likely beat Choi Hong Man by a large marigin in a boxing match, and stand a decent chance in a K1 type match with some training.

  5. they look great, i was wondering how these would look after seeing pictures of the jeans a while back. The side pocket doesn't look bad, but i'd take it off. I can see it being really useful, i wish the stitching was indigo. Try to keep a good log, i'm really interested in seeing how these turn out. I think you'll be lucky to see some wear within 6 months, but i hope you do. Anyhow, they look great as is.They make me want to go buy some chiklets

  6. LRG jeans -

22 year old suburban Phillipino backpack hip-hop enthusiast. Feels the artform peaked around Rawkus era, and Mos Def and Kweli are worthy ambassadors for the artform. Big, big supporter of "Da 4 Elementz(!)" Has more dunks than sense. Drives a Scion. Works at Footlocker.

Haha, i'm Filipino and found that funny, some of my friends are like this. Psst. you spilled Filipino wrong.

  7. I remember them shrinking down to tag size, maybe smaller. Then stretching out to an inch to two larger than my waist. I would size down one for a good fit in the waist. The thighs fit correct for my waist size though, if you size down, and your thighs are like mine, they might be tight. I can't really just the waist too well now, i lost a lot of weight after i bought them studying for the MCAT and now i've gained a lot of weight back or maybe more so they feel snug again. Hope this helps, i'm fighting the lunesta so not all of this may be cohesive.

I spent all my denim savings money on kiteboarding equipment, so no purples for me. I really want them bad. I'm loving my oni blues right now so no money, no new jeans, a lot of wear on the onis.

  8. save your money in the beginning and use 3 arrow towers. Upgrade them when you need to. The more money you have in your bank at the end of each round the more points you get. I usually upgrade fire first and use a few of those and keep upgrading them. Next upgrade water, add these when the bad guys get difficult and too fast, it'll slow most of them down. When you're able to get that last cannon thing, put two in and add more as the levels get harder. If you saved your money you'll have a ton in the bank and can add a bagillion super cannons for levels 38 and 39 and make sure to put a bunch of water towers along the path to slow everything down. I guess to get a huge score you just need to keep practicing and try to get by with as little as possible, spending as little as possible.

  9. ya dude mine either, i just put them on the other way. so like if supposed to be this ya - - i put them on : that way. so rotated 90* and they fit.

Thanks for the advice man. Any way i manipulate my baseplates isn't getting them to fit. I guess i'll go pick up a pair, or maybe i should get some new bindings haha.

  10. You can pick up the er6-i from buy.com for 60-67 shipped depending on where you live (tax) right now with google checkout.
