  1. went and got a pair of Levi's 501 deadstocks, two questions for you guys

    1. Most LVC i've heard of are of a certain year, ie. 1947 repro. how do I tell which one this is?

    2. They are unbelievably tight right now, especially in the thigh. does anyone have any experience in how much they stretch out?

    thanks for the input

  2. just starched my filippaK raw denim after a a few weeks of wear, they were starting to stretch and bend.

amazing results, curious as to how often people here starch, don't see why you wouldn't do it every few days once it loses the initial stiffness...

  3. p.s.

If you're into underground hiphop, on saturday nights Korova is really big into Stones Throw records, the label launched by DJ PBWolf.

Always a good time, also Blizzarts, both of which are north of Pins on St. Laurent.

  4. welcome to montreal

guizmar has listed some good shops, boutique U&I in particular has excellent stuff.

If you're looking more for urban or street style stuff, Aritmetik in Cours Mont-royal (sherbrooke and peel) carries a bit of stussy, etc.

If you're more into the euro-style, SOHO at St. Laurent and Ave. des Pins carries R.A.R.E., lots of earnest sewn, notify.

Oh, and almost forgot, a great place is DUO, which is just west of St. Laurent on Prince Arthur. Nudie, lindeberg, JPG, comme, iceberg etc.

    Good luck, enjoy

  5. saw someone with imperial denim on "what are you wearing" thread

just wondering if anyone knows where to get them online, or if they are available anywhere in the great north of Canada.

Also, whats the price tag on these?

  6. I know that Psycho Cowboy was sold for a while a couple years back in Montreal as a mid-high end line, but they didn't sell that well so they pulled the line.

I see them sporadically popping up, but no one seems to carry a collection anymore.

I think the full name was "Psycho Scandinavian Cowboy", and they focused on T-Shirts with slogans and motifs (before Urban Outfitters caught on) and thicker almost raw denim.

Hope this helps curb the curiosity a bit

  7. Hi guys,

Just bought a pair of Nudie Regular Ralf Used Orange Selvage, but am not really into them. Looking to see if anyone is interested in trading, I'm looking for the regular ralf dry selvage ( i want a project :)).

Alternatively, I can offer them for sale, but i'm looking to make back most of what I paid since I just got them.

If anyone is interested, PM me and I'll send you photos.
